GCW: ‘Backyard Wrestling is BACK on July 4th’ Last year’s GCW Backyard Wrestling event was a wildly popular success. This show in particular served as the platform for Alex Zayne’s rise in acclaim during the latter half or 2019. Zayne’s 15-minute banger with Tony Deppen was a standout match that all fans should check out! With that said, it might be time for a sequel to that backyard classic. The Action Arcade is open once again! CHIKARA’s weekly Saturday series took a brief hiatus last weekend, but they’re back with more action. CHIKARA Action Arcade Episode 9 begins with Ophidian setting an additional stake in his upcoming match with Mike Quackenbush. Per Ophidian’s challenge, a loss for Quackenbush in this match would mean a huge power shift. Episode 5 of the Action Arcade saw a few intriguing new faces in the CHIKARA ring. We present CHIKARA Action Arcade for Episode 5. The Red Queen and One-Eyed Jack made a most impressive debut. He’s not new to the promotion, but Australian wrestler Ricky South returned to this year’s Young Lions Cup tournament to make a bigger name for himself. The third episode of CHIKARA’s Action Arcade featured some of the activity surrounding the 16th annual Young Lions Cup. This show also highlighted some of the best bouts that took place earlier this year from January and February. Action Arcade Episode 3 showcased another great week of matches in the Arcade. More of the CHIKARA regular talent continue to build their characters through very effective ‘old school’ promo segments.
