Earlier today, via Twitter, it was officially announced that Big Swole has signed with All Elite Wrestling. With this news, Big Swole will become a regular talent for AEW programming moving forward. Big Swole made her first appearance for the company in October. On an episode of AEW Dark, she teamed with Mercedes Martinez against the team of Sadie Gibbs and Allie. Since she, she has made continuous appearances on AEW’s supplementary show on YouTube, challenging the likes of Shanna, Hikaru Shida, and AEW Women’s World Champion, Riho. Earlier today, it was announced that AEW signed a deal with In Demand regarding pay-per-view events. Per the recent press release, this deal will extend through June 2021 and cover quarterly events until then. Mark Boccardi, the Senior Vice President of Programming and Marketing at In Demand, spoke positively about this business venture. “We’re huge fans of AEW’s exciting wrestling talent and events, and are pleased to partner with them as they continue to build their audience, marketing and distribution,” said Boccardi. Earlier today, Chris Van Vliet sat down for an interview with AEW star Jon Moxley. During the interview, Moxley touched on a number of topics. His AEW debut, which took place at Double or Nothing this past May, is what Moxley called “surreal.” He also saw it as a “release” following his exit from World Wrestling Entertainment. Per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kris Statlander has been offered a deal with AEW. According to Meltzer, Statlander was close to signing with World Wrestling Entertainment before negotiations fell through. From there, All Elite Wrestling booked her on their programming.
