We are utterly ecstatic to announce that DEFY has a new champion at Kings of Crash. I would like to congratulate Randy Myers on his win over Schaff at DEFY’s Clash of Kings. The first face we saw at DEFY in 2020 was Mr. Myers. He came out to wish us a Happy New Year, and he had said he had forgotten to ask Santa for a few things. Things like a new hat, some new shoes, and of course…a BELT. When he made that announcement you could feel the buzz in the crowd. It was actually really cool. He…
#AndNEW: WWE NXT Tag Team Champions
NXT TakeOver came to Portland, so your favorite PandaGirl packed up some pals and hit the road! The main reason for my wanting to be there in person? Getting to see BROserweights vs Undisputed Era. Little did I know that this match would end up being heavily favored for Fight of the Night. It was a night that saw the crowning of new WWE NXT Tag Team Champions. Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne (BROserweights) faced off versus Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly (Undisputed Era). BROserweights are a fairly new team, still celebrating from their recent win at the Dusty Rhodes…
Our newest writing talent, Steve Sezso, tells you who he is, where he’s from, and why he’s the world’s strongest referee… “And his opponent, weighing in at 245lbs, from San Antonio California. The Bounty Hunter!”. Around 25 minutes after this announcement, I would finally win the WWF Heavyweight title from the then-undefeated, Hulk Hogan. A feat made even more incredible because not only was I nine years old but at around 95lbs, I may have been somewhat short of my billed weight. The imaginary thousands in attendance never knew the difference, and they loved my character – ‘the Bounty Hunter’…

ECCW’s Championship belt had quite the weekend! It was defended twice in the 2-night event in Vancouver BC at ECCW Ballroom Brawl 13. Firstly, defended by Artemis Spencer vs Bandido, and then defended again in what turned out to be a 4-way match for the title. Artemis won the title on January 11th, 2019. Spencer and Bandido had a great match, however, Bandido emerged victorious ending Arty’s reign at just over 1 year and 1 week. We also saw Beef Boy (W) Vs Judas Icarus which ended when Eli Surge threw in the towel on behalf of Icarus who didn’t…
#Review: DEFY Presents – Age of War
I was lucky enough to personally attend DEFY Age Of War. The company’s first event of 2020. With the likes of Matt Cross and Matt Sydal on the card, I knew I had to be in attendance. I sincerely hope that what I witnessed at Age of War was a sign of what is to come in 2020. We got to see fresh talent, old favorites, and a full variety of matches and fighting styles from the talent. The largest statement I can make about this event was “Unpredictable”, in the best of ways. Following a greeting by Migs (and…
We are back for IMPACT Interrogation just days following the history-making Hard To Kill event. This week’s IMPACT was one of the more unique episodes as IMPACT did not record a full episode in one location, but instead included Josh Matthews and Don Callis from headquarters, a match happening prior to Hard To Kill, and even traveling to House of Hardcore to see four of IMPACT’s finest go head-to-head. And finally, an exclusive sit-down interview with the new IMPACT World Champion, Tessa Blanchard. Lucha Style Rules: The Rascalz vs Desi Hit Squad vs Reno Scum vs TJP & Daga A…
All the while IMPACT Wrestling proved to be a history-making night, it did also prove to be a night for champions to walk out with the gold they walked in with. All four championships in IMPACT were on the line but only one changed hands in the main event. Ace Austin, Taya Valkyrie, and The North were all defending their gold. Here’s a peek at the competitors who managed to walk out #AndSTILL champion. Ace Austin Successfully Defends X-Division Championship Against Trey Ace Austin has become the king of getting inside his opponent’s head to give him a better chance…
NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II Walter (c) vs. Joe Coffey (WWE United Kingdom Championship) At the bell, WWE United Kingdom Champion Walter goes for a face kick and Joe Coffey is ready, ducking under it. Coffey shows disrespect by slapping Walter in the face who then lifts him onto his shoulders to drop Walter to the mat. Walter rolls to the outside and Coffey is quick after him, launching a torpedo-like shoulder from the corner of the ring apron to an unaware Walter on the outside, knocking him to the ground. Coffey knows he must have Walter in the ring…
