I'm Gareth. I like wrestling, heavy metal, and dying repeatedly on From Software games. My favourite food is almost always curry. I have one wife, two kids, two cats, and two rabbits. That's seven things in total!

Sunday, October 27th sees PROGRESS return to the Electric Ballroom in Camden for Chapter 97. Sex Robots Will Eventually Be Capable Of Murder is the long-winded, beautifully peculiar moniker. Cara Noir vs Ilja Dragunov At Chapter 96, Cara Noir and Ilja Dragunov collided in a match that I had the pleasure to witness in person. The contrast between the two men is evident from their entrances alone. You have Dragunov pounding the floor, as his brutalist,…

The British Wrestling scene was thrown for a collective loop in August when Jim Smallman announced that he would be leaving PROGRESS Wrestling after Chapter 100. One of the founding members of the company, Smallman acted as ring announcer and booker since the company’s inception. Someone sounding remarkably like him, named Jimmy Barnett, also handled commentary duties for the first couple of years. Speculation had been rife as to who might be selected to replace him as PROGRESS’s ring announcer. As ‘the face’ of the brand, Jim has helped to create a loyal fanbase with his genial attitude, witty repartee,…

That said, the interview is a great read and I’m confident you will enjoy it. A versatile performer, he is equally comfortable representing RIPTIDE Wrestling as the beloved babyface or heeling it up as a despicable…
