SMASH Wrestling will be at the London (Ontario) Comic-Con on October 27th 2018 for the CANUSA Classic. They will be hosting their annual event, the CANUSA Classic. In a series of seven matches, teams representing both Canada and the United States will clash. At the end of the night, only one country’s team will have bragging rights. In my latest Powerslam TV review, I chose to view Over the Top (OTT) Wrestling’s A Haven for Monsters from June. This will be my first exposure to OTT and I can’t wait to get started. NWA 70 took place on October 21, 2018, from the Tennessee State Fairgrounds in Nashville, TN. This historic event celebrates 70 years of the National Wrestling Alliance. This is also the first show put on entirely by the NWA under Billy Corgan’s management. Before the main show went down there was a pre-show, which is available for free on Fite.TV. Like their phoenix mascot, RiSE Wrestling is rising from the ashes. This summer it was shared by the owner, Kevin Harvey, that RiSE was closing was a real possibility. Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling held an event at the Miyagino Ward Cultural Center on August 19th. The show was recently uploaded to Powerslam.TV and decided to check it out. Sendai Girls is owned by Jinsei Shinzaki and Meiko Satomura and has been in operation since 2006. Manami vs. Mei Suraga The first match of the night was between two young newcomers, Manami and Mei Suraga. Manami is just 14 years old, and Mei slightly older at 19.
