#NEWS: AEW on TNT Start Date Announced
Earlier today, WarnerMedia announced the start date for AEW on TNT. According to the media titan, All Elite Wrestling’s weekly TV program will air every Wednesday night, starting on October 2. Furthermore, it will air live from 8 PM to 10 PM EST. The first episode of AEW on TNT will take place in Washington, D.C., from the Capital One Arena, but it will take place in numerous cities like other touring brands. Earlier today, it was announced that “Dark Side of the Ring,” the series of professional wrestling documentaries produced by Viceland, has been renewed for a second season. This was confirmed by Guy Slattery, the President of Viceland, who was on a press tour this past Tuesday. At the moment of publication, the second season is already in production. Not much has been confirmed in terms of specific content, but Viceland elected to share details. At All Elite Wrestling’s Fight for the Fallen, which took place this past Saturday, Britt Baker teamed with Riho to challenge Shoko Nakajima and Bea Priestley. This was the second match that took place during “The Buy-in,” the pre-show leading to the main show. During the women’s tag team match in question, Baker suffered a concussion. This past Saturday, prior to AEW Fight for the Fallen, Jim Ross sat down to speak with Chris Van Vliet. During their over 50-minute interview, AEW’s current play-by-play announcer and senior advisor spoke on myriad topics, including his favorite matches, calls as a commentator, and his days in WWE with Vince McMahon in his ear.
