At All Elite Wrestling’s Fight for the Fallen, which took place this past Saturday, Britt Baker teamed with Riho to challenge Shoko Nakajima and Bea Priestley. This was the second match that took place during “The Buy-in,” the pre-show leading to the main show. During the women’s tag team match in question, Baker suffered a concussion. During their over 50-minute interview, AEW’s current play-by-play announcer and senior advisor spoke on myriad topics, including his favorite matches, calls as a commentator, and his days in WWE with Vince McMahon in his ear. This past Saturday, Alexander Hammerstone retained the MLW National Openweight Championship in the Star Spangled Hammer Challenge at Kings of Colosseum. This past April, the championship was officially unveiled, with heavyweight and middleweight wrestlers able to compete for it. It was then announced that four wrestlers would compete in a single-elimination tournament. With the winner becoming the first titleholder. On July 6th, “Filthy” Tom Lawlor defended the MLW World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu. Major League Wrestling held their Kings of Colosseum event, where Lawlor and Fatu squared off in the main event.
