All Elite Wrestling will air Fight the Fallen on July 13th, from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, and a tag team match has been announced. In six-man tag team action, Jimmy Havoc, Darby Allin, and Joey Janela will team to take on Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Sammy Guevara, and Shawn Spears. This past Saturday, at AEW Fyter Fest, The Private Party competed in the opening match of the main show against Best Friends and SoCal Uncensored. Though the team of Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen came out on the losing end, their performance thrilled fans in the Ocean Center and viewers around the world. Following Fyter Fest, which took place this past Saturday, AEW President and CEO Tony Khan spoke with the media. Among the topics discussed during the media scrum was the chair shot to the head delivered to Cody by Shawn Spears. The chair shot was so severe that Cody required twelve stitches. Vice published a recent article in which they interviewed a number of LGBTQ wrestlers, specifically in regard to their representation in the professional wrestling. Among the wrestlers in question was Washington, D.C. native Nyla Rose, who signed with All Elite Wrestling earlier this year. PWInsider reported that All Elite Wrestling  ( AEW ) applied for the trademark, “Wednesday Night Dynamite.” This lends credence to the idea that AEW will air its TV show on Wednesdays, possibly in a competing timeslot with WWE NXT. It’s worth noting that AEW previously applied for the trademark, “Tuesday Night Dynamite,” but the promotion seems to be sticking to Wednesday. Whether this is a competitive move by AEW, a decision by TNA to not conflict with its NBA schedule or some other factor entirely is unknown.
