On last night’s edition of RAW, Erick Rowan once again faced off against a local competitor, as he has now for the past few weeks. It was revealed on the Twitter account of The Local Competitor, that Rowan’s victim last night was Joey O’Riley. As you can see in the video below, Erick’s storyline involving the creature kept in his cage, moved up a gear. Rowan was bitten by whatever is inside the cage – https://youtu.be/6wKxbfrud2g For those eagle-eyed readers of ours, yes O’Riley has appeared in the WWE before. Howdy partners!…. Yeah, that didn’t go as well as I thought it would in my head 🙂 Anyway, welcome one and all to my preview of NXT UK’s Takeover: Blackpool II. Before I start I’d like to begin by saying that this preview was written before the go-home edition of the TV show. So if there are any matches added, or card changes, I apologize. But enough of that, let’s look at the positives. A five-match card, a two (ish) hour show, and action galore. Let’s kick off the new year as we mean to go on, shall we?! NXT…

I hate January. All the cheer from Xmas and New Year has passed. It’s all back to normal now, nose to the grindstone time. Shawn picked up the ball on the…
