Review: Genesis Pro Wrestling Returns
Those that know or follow me on social media, will know that I am a staunch defender of my local promotion – Genesis Pro Wrestling. I won’t go into details, you can click the link here to read my last piece about them. Today’s piece is a review of the company’s second-ever show, held once again in Snodland, Kent, UK. The Community Centre was legitimately packed to the rafters. A full-on 225 person sell-out! Not bad for the company’s second-ever show! https://www.instagram.com/p/B86pSGOpeCo/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link The show began with GPW Commissioner William West in the ring, armed with nothing but a microphone.…
NXT UK Inclination 2/27/20 (I Quit Match)
Welcome back to a momentous edition of NXT UK Inclination. Momentous I hear you ask. Oh yes! Momentous for two reasons. One – The first ever I Quit match took place in NXT UK. and secondly – I am now over the man flu! Yes, I have bested the flu virus and am once again back to “normal”. Add some Kassisus Ohno/Chris Hero worship to this review and I’m a very happy chappy. Enough chit chat, let’s get to steppin’….to the review! Grizzled Young Veterans vs The Hunt In last week’s show (right here for your reading pleasure) The Hunt…
WWE RAW last night took place from the Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Many of you may have been wondering just who was that referee on RAW? In the main event of Randy Orton vs Kevin Owens, the referee of the match was EVOLVE and Absolute Intense Wrestling referee Jake Clemons. https://twitter.com/LocalCompWWE/status/1232175502154240000 During the match, it was revealed that Clemons could possibly have been a disciple of “The Monday Night Messiah” Seth Rollins. “The Messiah” was ringside as Clemons gave Randy a screwy victory as seen in the video below. He also took away a steel chair from…

In the words of my fave ring announcer…HIYA! Welcome to your Sunday supplement, the NXT UK Inclination! After last week’s mediocre edition of the show, this week sees a return to solid hours worth of wrestling entertainment. Two bloody good matches on this card including our main event – Joe Coffey vs Ilja Dragunov. I’ll stop hyping and begin reviewing right about…now! We see a determined-looking Joe Coffey backstage watching his loss to WALTER at Takeover: Blackpool II. He blames Dragunov for hs loss and will take out his frustrations on him in the main event. Nice to see the…

It has been reported that “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. As always, the Hall Of Fame ceremony will be held over WrestleMania weekend which is being held in Tampa, Florida. Dave Meltzer made the report on his Wrestling Observer Radio. He mentioned that there’s no word on when WWE will announce Smith’s induction or who will induct him. But Meltzer stressed that the induction has been confirmed. https://twitter.com/WONF4W/status/1229730998541139969 Smith’s family has been very active over the past few years in getting Davey Boy into the Hall Of Fame.…
Get ready Dublin, Ireland, NXT UK will be invading your shores next month! https://twitter.com/NXTUK/status/1229207649461424128 That’s right, it was announced during NXT Takeover: Portland last night that NXT UK Champion WALTER and company will be taking over the 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland on Sunday, April 26. This would mark the fourth time that the NXT UK brand will have held a Takeover event. So far two have been held in Blackpool, England and one in Cardiff, Wales. And all three lived up to the Takeover reputation. As a point of note, it’s the first time the brand has left the…

An Irish talent that could do some great work in NXT UK. Plus that main event of Gallus versus Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch. That’s gonna be a slugfest peeps! Enough chatter from me lets get straight to the action! Aoife Valkyrie vs Amale Well, that’s how you book a debut! Aoife Valkyrie was so dominant here that I’m hoping she will be a force to be reckoned with…
Last night at York Hall, London, Revolution Pro Wrestling ran their annual High Stakes show. The show itself had a huge card and was stacked with top tier talent. Eddie Kingston, El Phantasmo, LA Park and Mark Haskins to name but just a few. But the selling point of the show was that all three Rev Pro titles were on the line. And all three changed hands! The recently Indie Spotlighted Michael Oku aka OJMO faced off against the Rev Pro British Cruiserweight Champion El Phantasmo with the title on the line. Last year really was a breakout year for…
