AEW Dynamite is filled with a lot of very personal matches on Wednesday night for the 3rd Anniversary Show as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 10/5/22. MJF will finally face off with Wheeler Yuta after weeks of personal attacks and brawls. We even have Daniel Garcia teaming up with Bryan Danielson to go against members of the Jericho Appreciation Society.

It should be an exciting night. Let us learn more about this show in Washington, D.C., in the latest edition of AEW Dynamite IGNITE.

    Wardlow(c) vs. Brian Cage
    (AEW TNT Championship)

Wardlow has been demanding more challenges for his TNT Championship. He has only defended his title a few times since winning it on July 6th. So he wants anyone to give him a challenge on this week’s AEW Dynamite. An interesting challenger responded to his call.

Brian Cage answered the challenge for the TNT Championship match. Besides a few appearances on Ring of Honor pay-per-views, Cage has been largely absent from AEW television. This is his first match on AEW Dynamite in over a year. Can Brian Cage impress in this rare Dynamite appearance?

The Acclaimed (w/”Daddy A**” Billy Gunn) Celebrates “National Scissoring Day.”

Well, this is certainly an exciting segment. However, we certainly cannot deny that The Acclaimed has gotten over in recent months, and part of that is because of their “Scissoring” catchphrase.

On Wednesday night, we celebrate “National Scissoring Day.” That is a thing now. Will we get a true celebration of this important holiday, or will another AEW tag team ruin this wonderful moment?

    RUSH vs. Hangman Page

Hangman Page recently won the opportunity to challenge for the AEW World Championship on October 18th. Will he be ready for Jon Moxley in his hometown? Hopefully, he isn’t looking ahead to that match just yet.

On Wednesday night, Hangman faces the dangerous RUSH. RUSH, the newest member of the AEW roster, just beat Dark Order’s John Silver on Friday night. RUSH is a talented competitor but has proven he is not above cheating to get what he wants. This could be a show stealer but will RUSH want a fair fight?

    Darby Allin vs. Jay Lethal

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, this interesting match was announced. Darby Allin wanted to prove himself against the talented Lethal. But Allin knows that Lethal’s allies would usually be close behind. Lethal has promised to do it alone, but can we really trust him? We will find out in Washington, D.C.

Toni Storm, Athena & Willow Nightingale vs. Jamie Hayter, Serena Deeb & Penelope Ford

It is time for six-woman action on Wednesday night in Washington, D.C. On AEW Rampage last week, Jamie Hayter defeated Willow Nightingale. Sure, it involved some cheating by Britt Baker, but a win is a win, I guess.

Can Hayter’s team pick up a massive victory against Toni Storm’s team on Wednesday night? We know Britt Baker will be watching ringside. Storm, Athena, and Willow better be watching their backs, or they could be a repeat of what happened on Friday night.

Daniel Garcia & Bryan Danielson vs. Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara

This match certainly has a lot of history around it. Daniel Garcia was a proud member of the Jericho Appreciation Society. That is until he had a series of matches with his hero, Bryan Danielson. He earned the respect of Danielson throughout those encounters. And it caused Garcia to become conflicted over the constant underhanded tactics of Chris Jericho.

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Garcia had enough. He wanted to be a pro wrestler and not a sports entertainer anymore. This is when Danielson arrived to invite Garcia to the Blackpool Combat Club. Daniel Garcia even suggested a tag team match with Danielson against Jericho and Guevara. So what will happen in this explosive tag team match at the Anniversary show? It could be a special moment for sure.

    MJF vs. Wheeler Yuta

This feud has gotten heated in a hurry. Over the last two weeks, a war of words has erupted between two of the best youngest stars of AEW. MJF has constantly called himself a “generational talent.” On the other hand, Yuta has been furious about the lack of respect MJF has shown the AEW roster. It comes to a head on Wednesday night.

Yuta has shown himself to be a talented in-ring competitor in recent months. But this will be MJF’s first in-ring match since May’s Double or Nothing. Can they cocky MJF back up his constant talk against the talented Yuta? It will be a great match on another exciting episode of AEW Dynamite.

    What To Expect:

    • Who will challenge Toni Storm next?
    • What is next for Saraya and the AEW Women’s Division?
    • Will we hear from AEW World Champion Jon Moxley?

Please share with us what you expect to happen on this weeks in the comment section below for AEW Dynamite.
