Can the Death Riders be stopped once and for all as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 1/22/25? On this week’s show, we have another strong card.

We have a huge return match for Samoa Joe, a battle between two of the best wrestlers in AEW and an AEW World Tag Team Championship match. Let us learn more about this interesting night in Knoxville in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

Will Ospreay & Kenny Omega Face-To-Face

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Kenny Omega defeated Brian Cage. After the match, the Don Callis Family attacked Omega.

Will Ospreay tried to make the save but couldn’t overcome the odds. Both Ospreay and Omega were left laying in the ring.

On Saturday’s Collision, Ospreay said he wanted a face-to-face with Kenny Omega on this week’s episode of Dynamite. It will happen in Knoxville this Wednesday night. What will, Will say to Omega?

It leads to many interesting possibilities. Will Ospreay and Omega work together? Or will the alliance end before it even starts? It will certainly be a great moment to see two of the best wrestlers in AEW face-to-face.

    AEW World Tag Team Championship
Private Party (c)  vs. The Hurt Syndicate

In recent weeks, The Hurt Syndicate has set their sights on the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Last week, Shelton Benjamin pinned Marq Quen in a Trios Tag Team match. Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley have the momentum heading into Knoxville this Wednesday night.

Bobby Lashley has been undefeated and dominant in All Elite Wrestling. While Private Party has held the AEW World Tag Team titles for over two months, the odds seem stacked against them. Are Private Party really the underdogs in this title match?

    Hart vs. Hayter 2

For weeks, Julia Hart played mind games with Jamie Hayter. On the New Year’s Day AEW Dynamite, Hart used her Black Mist to temporarily blind Hayter and pick up the victory. It seems the feud was at a quick end.

In last week’s Casino Gauntlet, Hayter attacked Hart before she even entered the match. They took each other out of the match, costing both of them a title opportunity. It seemed the feud wasn’t over yet.

This week will be a rematch between Julia Hart and Jamie Hayter. Will Hart pick up another huge victory? And will Hayter be ready for the Black Mist and Julia’s mind games? The feud is truly just beginning it seems.

    Samoa Joe vs. Nick Wayne

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Hook finally got his hands on Christian Cage. Cage was the man who attacked Taz, Hook’s father.

The match ended in disqualification when the Patriarchy attacked Hook. That is until Samoa Joe returns from a six-month absence.

Before his absence, Joe quickly became an ally and mentor to Hook. The dangerous former AEW World Champion will be back in action in Knoxville.

Who is his first opponent? It will be the 19-year-old Nick Wayne. Good luck, Nick Wayne! You will need it on Wednesday night.

    Cope vs. Pac

Jon Moxley successfully defeated the AEW World Championship last week. However, the Death Riders were part of a team that lost a 12-man Tag Team Match on last week’s AEW Collision. It seems Rated FTR has set their sights on ending the reign of terror of the Death Riders.

On Wednesday night, the “Rated R Superstar” Cope will face off against the Death Rider’s Pac. Pac, one-third of the Trios Champion, is a truly dangerous competitor.

It will be a battle of two veterans in Knoxville. Can Cope pick up the huge victory and get one step closer to Moxley?

    What To Expect:

    • What is next for Powerhouse Hobbs?
    • What is next for Daniel Garcia and the TNT Championship?
    • Will we learn any other matches for Grand Slam Australia?
