It is time for some Carnage as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 1/14/26. It is time for some Maximum Carnage!

For the first Super Card of 2026, AEW is pulling out all the stops. We have a 4 Way Number One Contender’s match for the World Tag Team Championship.

We will see the return of Kenny Omega. We will even get a AEW World Championship match!  It should be a big night.

Let us learn more about this important card in Phoenix in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

    Kenny Omega Returns

“The Cleaner” is back on All Elite Wrestling. And it is pretty clear who he has set his sights on.

On a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, Kenny Omega appeared on the video screen to announce he was coming for MJF and his AEW World Championship.

It was a shocking statement, since he hasn’t challenged for the AEW World Championship since 2023, when he faced MJF.

After a trip to Wrestle Kingdom 20, Kenny Omega is back on AEW Dynamite. What will he have to say to the Phoenix crowd? It would be great to see Omega in one more World title run.

    Darby Allin vs. Pac

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin demanded a match with Pac. He is 0-2 against Pac, including a loss at Full Gear last year, and wants to get that monkey off his back. Pac refused, that is, until he was attacked by Darby Allin. That match is on for Maximum Carnage.

Pac has vowed to break Allin’s ankle on Wednesday night. Darby wants to finally defeat his rival before moving on to the AEW World Championship. We know Allin will pull out all the stops. Can he finally beat Pac?

Kris Statlander & Babes of Wrath vs. Triangle of Madness

On AEW Collision, the newly reunited team of Kris Statlander and Babes of Wrath won a Trios Match. Afterwards, Thekla vowed to defeat the trio at Maximum Carnage with his fellow Triangle of Madness members. The rivalry continues on Wednesday night.

Statlander and the Babes of Wrath have been on a roll recently. But the Triangle of Madness has been a thorn in their sides for months now. Who will gain the advantage in this long-time feud?

Young Bucks vs. GOA vs. JetSpeed vs. Don Callis Family
(4-Way Tag For a Future World Tag Title Shot)

It is time for a huge match in the loaded AEW Tag Team Division!

It is a 4-Way Tag Team match in Phoenix. The winner will get a shot at FTR in the future for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. It is high stakes indeed.

The four teams are coming from vastly different places. The Young Bucks are back to their roots and looking to become the first-ever four-time Tag Champions. JetSpeed has been one of the most exciting teams in AEW and is looking for that true breakthrough.

GOA is one of the most physical tag teams in the company. And the Don Callis Family, Mark Davis, and Jake Doyle are looking to make an impact together. It should be a chaotic 4-Way match with a high reward on Wednesday night.

    MJF (c) vs. Bandido
    (AEW World Championship)

MJF won back the AEW World Championship at Worlds End. He vowed to have a long reign with his Triple B Belt. But he faces quite the challenge in his first title defense.

Enter Bandido. Bandido had quite the 2025. He won back the ROH World Championship back in April, which he still holds til this day.

With Brody King, he won the AEW World Tag Team Championship and held it for 90 days. And he was the first wrestler not named MJF to win the Dynamite Diamond Ring.

MJF has been his usual cocky self leading into Maximum Carnage. Is he overlooking Bandido? He would do so at his peril.
