On the upcoming WWE NXT for 10/4/22, only two matches have been announced for this week’s show. The third item advertised is an edition of the Grayson Waller Effect, with his guests likely to get physical in an attempt to settle the score with one another before Halloween Havoc.
But as Halloween Havoc approaches, all the finalists for the upcoming NXT North American Championship Ladder Match have yet to be finalized. With weeks before NXT’s next Tuesday night’s featured event, there are still questions to be answered. Will they be answered this week on the upcoming WWE NXT for the 10/4/22 edition of the show?

Andre Chase vs. Von Wagner with Robert Stone
Will this match be a teachable moment for one of these men? With the growing popularity of Andre Chase in NXT, will he be the won t surprise the massive Von Wagner? Von Wagner is big, strong, and appears to have all the support in the world from Robert Stone. He has made light work of the massive Sanga.
But with more on the line, this match may not be as easy as some may think. For those unaware, Chase is a 15-year veteran of the ring, competing in promotions such as Ring of Honor in the past. He is blending the personality traits to convince fans with the ring skill that he has developed for more than a decade into what we see today.
Can the second-generation wrestler Von Wagner make this a teachable moment for Andre Chase and advance to the Ladder Match?

The Grayson Waller Effect with Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez
Leading up to this interview segment, the consistently brash Waller has been poking at Perez and Jade on social media. Perez, not being one to back down herself, has been equally quick to poke back. Whether the jabs are intended to show how young and immature the other is or that both are just as much fans as their competitors, they have consistently taken shots at one another.
But as we go into this interview segment, we may discover who is less of a fan and more of a fighter! Waller is attempting to light the match between Jade and Perez, and he may be caught in the middle of their battle.

Six-Women’s Tag Team Match
Alba Frye, Nikita Lyons, and Zoey Stark vs. Toxic Attraction
The growing animosity amongst these six women will likely come to a head. Alba Frye has her sights on the NXT Women’s Championship, while Gigi Dolin and Jacey Jayne may be guilty of trying to look past Lyons and Stark. This match is as much about setting up where all these women will be going in and out of Halloween Havoc as much as anything else.
Zoey Stark and Nikita Lyons are an unlikely tandem that can likely learn a lot from each other moving forward. Is this match a prelude of what is to come, though? Could a loss here by Toxic Attraction signify that the trio is heading out of NXT and over to Raw or SmackDown?
Frye is a former NXT UK Women’s Champion, and capturing this title couldn’t go to a more deserving talent. Does Frye lay out the current champion going into Halloween Havoc?
