Saturday, January 11, 2020, WWE NXT UK will present Takeover: Blackpool II. It was at last night’s NXT UK TV tapings from the Bonus Arena in Hull, England, that the announcement was made. that the next Takeover event would take place in the same city as the very first event….Blackpool.
No venue has been announced yet, but early reports say that it could be held in the Empress Ballroom. The exact same venue as NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool I.

This will mark the third NXT UK Takeover event. As noted above Blackpool hosted the first event in January of this year, with Cardiff holding the second in late August.
It could well be that January will be the month for NXT UK Takeover events if this news is anything to go by.
Blake’s Take: With some of the best NXT UK programming taking place at the moment, this news makes sense. Looking forward could we possibly see WALTER vs Bate II? From what I’ve heard from the tapings, it’s a huge possibility. You could pencil in Imperium vs Gallus as well. And quite possibly a Joseph Connors (yawn) match of some description. Oh well….you can’t have everything right?!
