Brian Cage Signed With AEW | Report

On the same night as IMPACT Wrestling’s Hard To Kill PPV, their former world champion by all accounts made his last appearance. Per SoCalUncensored.com, the final match for “The Machine” Brian Cage as a part of IMPACT could very well be the no-contest bout between him and RVD on Sunday night. As it’s reported, Brian Cage has signed a multi-year contract with All Elite Wrestling.

Brian Cage, a former IMPACT World Champion was the latest free agent in the market and was jabbed by AEW. This is a company in need of some size. The 35-year-old has done everything possible as a part of IMPACT Wrestling since signing in 2018 and reached the top of the mountain after winning the world title in April of 2019 from Johnny IMPACT. He lost the championship to Sami Callihan in October on the debut episode of IMPACT on AXS TV.

SoCalUncensored.com also confirmed that AEW wasn’t the only possible suitor for Cage, as both IMPACT and Ring of Honor offered “The Machine” contracts. They stated that Ring of Honor offered the highest money deal.

Brian Cage Signed With AEW

There were reports last year that Brian Cage was going to enter the Casino Battle Royals at AEW’s Double or Nothing. But was pulled by IMPACT at the last second. Now he will be entering a brand new world where many would figure he would become a headliner almost instantly. Fans can begin to get excited as “The Machine” will step inside the ring with the likes of Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, and PAC. Who will be his first target? When will he make his debut? All these questions remain unanswered, but you will bet that they find an answer soon enough.

There are times in wrestling where a company and a wrestler is a perfect match. That is exactly where we stand between All Elite Wrestling and Brian Cage.
