Welcome to Raw in Advance for 03/25/24, where we examine what’s been announced for this week’s show in Chicago, IL. With WrestleMania 40 less than two weeks away, just what is in store for all involved?

    CM Punk returns

The local guy, CM Punk, returns to Monday Night Raw after suffering an injury at the Royal Rumble. This will also be Punk’s first hometown appearance since returning at Survivor Series in November.

While Punk is likely not medically cleared, he will likely offer us his insight to the World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania between Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre. What else could CM Punk have up his sleeve?

    Ricochet vs. JD McDonagh

Ricochet has had a little feud going with McDonagh the past few weeks. Ricochet defeated McDonagh in the Intercontinental Championship Gauntlet Match two weeks ago.

He also defeated Dominik Mysterio last week while dodging a sneak attack from McDonagh after that match. These two will square off once again on Raw. Will McDonagh be able to stall Ricochet’s recent momentum?

Can Ricochet continue his recent winning ways? Will Judgment Day show up to factor into the match? If so, does Ricochet have a counter waiting for them?

    Ivy Nile vs. Candice LeRae

Two weeks ago, LeRae was a bit of a bully towards Maxxine Dupri in the Ivy Nile/Maxxine Dupri vs. Candice LeRae/Indi Hartwell tag match. Last week, LeRae showed a more aggressive side in the Kayden Carter/Katana Chance tag match.

LeRae has said she’s just tired of losing all the time. Now, she faces off against Ivy Nile. Can Nile stick up for her tag team partner? Will this new Candice LeRae continue picking up wins in a more aggressive way? What does Indi Hartwell think about all of this?

Just announced! Three more matches have been added to Raw.

    Andrade vs. Ivar

Andrade takes on the Viking Raiders Ivar in a one-on-one competition. The big Viking has been on quite a roll as of late.

Can he continue his winning ways? Will the formable Andrade pick up another win to continue his winning streak since returning to WWE?

Sami Zayn vs. “Big” Bronson Reed

Sami Zayn is looking for a measure of revenge on “Big” Bronson Reed. Zayn eliminated Reed from the Intercontinental Championship Gauntlet Match two weeks ago.

Reed almost eliminated Zayn afterwards by attacking him while Shinsuke Nakamura was making his entrance to the match. Zayn was able to overcome that sneak attack and win the Gauntlet Match to punch his ticket to WrestleMania.

Will Zayn get his revenge on Reed this close to WrestleMania? Can Reed derail Zayn’s momentum heading into the match with GUNTHER?

“Main Event” Jey Uso vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Jey Uso has a WrestleMania date with his brother Jimmy at WrestleMania, but before he can get there, Shinsuke Nakamura stands in his way.

Will Uso gain some momentum heading into the brother vs. brother match? Will Nakamura be a speed bump in Uso’s Road to WrestleMania? Is Jimmy Uso going to be in the house?

There we have it. The card looks good with the recent storylines in place as the reasoning they are happening. The big driver is Punk’s return to his hometown of Chicago. What else is going to happen? Find out this Monday at 8 ET/7 CT on USA or wherever you watch.
