The promotion The Crash from Tijuana, Mexico, is back on June 15th. They are back with another huge event and different matches. Last month, they gave us an incredible event with great surprises. Now with the challenge to overcome the experience in May, they announced Descontrol which means uncontrolled. They have mixed six teams in three matches and they announced an amazing four-way dance with four indie stars. So, let’s get down to the preview and see what awaits us.
Tiago, Black Danger, and Miranda Alize vs Lady Flammer, Dinámico, and Gringo Loco
In the first match of the event, we have a relevos mixtos match or a mixed tag team match. Every first match on a show by The Crash is insane with spots. With these teams, I can’t deny, this will be amazing. On one side, we have Tiago who is the Junior Champion of The Crash, he always thrills the crowd with his dives. He’ll be teaming with Black Danger, who is the youngest member of Rebelion Amarilla. Black has worked in AAA and now he wants to find his place in The Crash. Their last partner is Miranda Alize, she has been in The Crash a few times. The last time, she had the opportunity to challenge for the Femenil (Women’s) Championship in a four-way dance.
In front of this incredible team, they’ll face great luchadors. The first one is Dinámico who is another incredible rookie or junior of The Crash, he has a similar style to Tiago. They have even teamed together on different events. In his corner, he’ll have the great help of an incredible indie wrestler, Gringo Loco. This guy is tremendous, we can watch great matches of him in GCW, Martínez Entertainment, Aro Lucha, AAW, MLW, and many other indies. To end they’ll have in their corner the Femenil Champion who is Lady Flammer. At this event, she will show her technical abilities and why she holds the belt.
Ricky Banderas vs Austin Theory
This match will be the only singles match of the night. We will see Ricky Banderas, a Puerto Rican wrestler who built his career in Mexico with AAA. Better known as El Mesias (The Messiah), he worked with AAA from 2006 to 2018. He’s also appeared for MTV’s Wrestling Society X, TNA, and WWC. An important event in his career was when he portrayed the character Mil Muertes in Lucha Underground. Now he has in his hands, the opportunity to get the victory and become the next contender to the Heavyweight Championship.
That won’t be easy for Ricky, because he’ll have in front of him the EVOLVE Champion, Austin Theory. Austin has been booked in The Crash constantly, and he showed his skills and he is a former Heavyweight Champion for The Crash. Austin Theory with a few years in the business, he has been with EVOLVE, WWN, and PROGRESS Wrestling. This last year, he even participated in a WWE Tryout. Now, these excellent wrestlers will collide and will give us an amazing international match at Descontrol.
Trauma I and Sansón vs Trauma II and Cuatrero
The first mixed up match of Descontrol will be between two families, Los Traumas and Nueva Generación Dinamita (NGD). Los Traumas, they are children of the Mexican legend El Negro Navarro. Through their careers, they worked for promotions like AULL, DTU, Toryumon Mexico and the most important promotion for them is IWRG. IWRG is important to them because they have been champions there. At the last event for The Crash, they got the victory against Angel de Oro and Niebla Roja.
The other family represented in this match is Los Dinamitas, represented by Sanson and Cuatrero. They are children of the Mexican legend and great rudo Cien Caras. In the last few years, they have grown in CMLL, and they had the opportunity to participate in Fantasticamania in Japan with NJPW and CMLL. It’s important to know that these four luchadors are amazing rudos, and now we can hope for a great battle.
Adam Brooks vs Bandido vs Dragon Lee vs Matt Taven
The next match probably will be the match of the night at Descontrol. The first one is Adam Brooks, this Australian wrestler has burst on the indie circuit, he has had opportunities to show his great talent in PWG, The Crash, CMLL and recently has signed with MLW. In Mexican promotions, he has surprised the Mexican crowd, especially in The Crash. Now he has a huge challenge that is because he will be facing three great stars. Bandido has been rising fast, since last year when he participated with PWG, Dragon Gate and at the huge indie event All In. He showed that deserved to be in great companies, that opportunity came this year when he signed to ROH. With his appearances at Wrestlecon and on the G1 Supercard, that was enough for NJPW to add him to Best of Super Juniors XXVI.
Another contender is Dragon Lee, like Bandido, was also in Best of Super Juniors for NJPW. This week, he lost the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship in an incredible match against Will Ospreay. Now Dragon will show why he had on his waist the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship and is internationally recognized. The last competitor is the ROH World Champion Matt Taven. The leader of the Kingdom comes to Tijuana to expand his power and his reign. Matt is known in Mexico because he has appeared with CMLL in Arena Mexico and we don’t deny his talent.
This April at the G1 Supercard against Jay Lethal and Marty Scurrl, he won the ROH World Championship. Now Matt can show why he is the champion. With their talents in the middle of the ring, their skills and desire to win, that is why this will probably be the match of the night.
Rey Horus and Angel de Oro vs Hijo del Fantasma and Niebla Roja
The second mixed-up match of Descontrol will be with Rebelion Amarilla and Los Chavez. On the side of Los Chavez are Angel de Oro and Niebla Roja, these guys have been booked by The Crash constantly. They have shown their talent and skills in The Crash and in their home promotion of CMLL. As a team, their combinations are great and when they have needed to show their ability in a singles match, they also have done great.
On the side Rebelion Amarilla, this stable will be represented by the Heavyweight Champion of The Crash, Rey Horus, and Hijo del Fantasma. Rey Horus will show why he has become in The Crash’s face. On the other side is Hijo del Fantasma or King Cuerno as he was called in Lucha Underground, he is another who has decided to be independent. He has had to work hard to win a place on the indie circuit. We can hope to watch partners face off in Rey Horus and Fantasma or Angel and Niebla, that would be awesome. Hopefully, no partners betray each other!
Bestia 666 and Penta 0M vs Mecha Wolf 450 and Rey Fénix
The main event of Descontrol will be a mixed match between Rebelion Amarilla and the Lucha Brothers. At the last event, Bestia 666 and Mecha Wolf 450 defeated Lucha Bros to become the new tag team champions. With this victory, Rebelion Amarilla has congregated the best stable in Mexico and they are the face of The Crash. So to add more drama between these teams that have fought many times, we’ll see them share a corner with their rivals.
The Lucha Brothers are also signed with AEW so that will bring new challenges for them. In the first event of AEW, they tried to recover the AAA Tag Team Championships from The Young Bucks. They lost in that attempt, but on the next day after Descontrol, they will have another opportunity at AAA Verano de Escandalo. But believe you me, these teams in every match and every style, and they give their 100%. Even though they face an enemy or fight against a partner, this match will be crazy in pure The Crash style.
