Earlier today, Pro Wrestling Sheet broke the news that Primo Colon and Robert Roode had been suspended by WWE for 30 days each, due to Wellness Policy violations.

Below is the official announcement via their corporate page –

STAMFORD, CONN., December 10, 2019 – WWE has suspended Eddie Colón (Primo) and Robert Roode each for 30 days effective immediately, for a first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.

Although they are first violations, this will come as a huge blow to Robert Roode, who was building up a head of steam recently on WWE TV. He wrestled Roman Reigns on SmackDown a few weeks ago but was apparently written off TV after being stretchered out of the venue after a beatdown after the match.

In regards to Primo, both himself and Epico have been working down in Puerto Rico for Primo’s father’s WWC promotion for quite some time. But there have been rumors that The Colons were coming back to WWE TV.

As of the time of writing, there has been no news on what substances Roode and Colon tested positive for.

Blake’s Take – The bad news for WWE superstars continues it seems. After Black Sunday where, as we know, four WWE Superstars were released from the company, this news is reported. As I alluded to above, this must suck for Robert Roode. After a prolonged TV presence with Dolph Ziggler, winning the RAW tag team championships, and a main event match with Roman Reigns…this happens. But this is all his own making.

And spare a thought for Epico. It looks like both men were due to be called back up to TV soon, and then Primo gets popped for a Wellness Violation. I can see a rather heated conversation between the two very soon!
