As we come to the year’s end, we find ourselves rapidly approaching IMPACT Wrestling’s Hard to Kill on January 16th. The start of a new year holds much promise for many in IMPACT Wrestling. However, there’s one last stop in 2020: Final Resolution. This year’s Final Resolution, the first since 2013, takes place on December 12th, exclusively on IMPACT Plus. As of writing, IMPACT Wrestling has not announced any matches for Final Resolution. Consequently, what happens Tuesday night will greatly influence the shape of the card on December 12th. Prepare as we Brace for IMPACT for 12/1/2020!

    Willie Mack vs Chris Bey

In a backstage segment last week, Chris Bey barged in on a conversation between Willie Mack and Rich Swann. Bey had intended to ask the IMPACT World Champion for a future title match. During his pitch, he referred to Willie Mack as a loser, upsetting both Mack and Swann. This week, Willie Mack is out to prove he’s not the loser Chris Bey thinks he is. Meanwhile, Chris Bey is out to prove he deserves a shot at the IMPACT World Championship.

XXXL vs Motor City Machine Guns

On October 27th, Acey Romero and Larry D of XXXL interrupted an interview with the Motor City Machine Guns to challenge them to a match. XXXL are out to climb the ladder in the tag team division, and a win over the former tag team champions would bring them closer to the championship scene. MCMG’s Chris Sabin said they’d be happy to have a match, but not before Alex Shelley’s neck heals. The super heavyweights turned to leave but doubled back to attack MCMG. The following week Sabin issued an open challenge to either member of XXXL to prove that there is no weak link in The Motor City Machine Guns. On November 10th, Chris Sabin toppled Acey Romero in singles action. This week, Alex Shelley is ready for action, and the Motor City Machine Guns will honor their word against Team XXXL.

    X Division Championship
Rohit Raju (c) vs Crazzy Steve

Last week, Rohit Raju declared that the Defeat Rohit Challenge would be a non-title match. Suicide appeared to answer the challenge despite the X-Division Champion’s refusal to defend the title. For much of the match, Suicide’s style seemed eerily reminiscent of TJP. Rohit was now driven to unmask his foe, as TJP is barred from challenging for the X-Division championship following his failure to capture the championship on November 10th. When The Desi Hitman finally pulled Suicide’s mask off, he held it high, bragging to the camera. Then, TJP’s music hit, and the man who formerly wrestled as Suicide took to the stage. Rohit Raju turned around in shock, allowing the impostor Suicide to roll him up for the win. The impostor Suicide stood tall in the ring, revealing himself as Crazzy Steve. This week Crazzy Steve exercises his right to challenge for the championship. Will Crazzy Steve capture his first X-Division championship or will Rohit Raju scramble away with the title yet again?

Renee Michelle & Killer Kelly vs Jazz & Jordynne Grace

Last week, we learned that former WWE and NWA Women’s Champion Jazz has come to IMPACT! Wrestling. Though she announced her retirement earlier this year, she says she intends to retire on top. What a better way to retire than after becoming half the inaugural Knockouts Tag Team Champions? This week, Jazz makes her in-ring debut along with Jordynne Grace. Jazz & Jordynne will be facing the duo of Killer Kelly & Renee Michelle. Former NXT UK wrestler Killer Kelly debuted in a losing effort against Kimber Lee. A win for Kelly and Michelle over established talent like Grace and Jazz would easily be the upset of the year. However, Jordynne Grace hasn’t had much luck in tag team action lately. Can Kelly & Michelle pull off the upset victory or has Jordynne Grace found her perfect partner in Jazz?
