Last week’s episode of IMPACT! Wrestling ended in tragedy, as John E. Bravo suffered a gunshot at his wedding. This week, we find out who the suspects are. Though the attack on John E. Bravo leaves a cloud over the show, there’s a lot of great wrestling action in store. Two champions have a trade of place as IMPACT! World Champion Rich Swann competes in tag team action, and IMPACT! World Tag Team Champion Ethan Page competes in singles action. And Su Yung defends her Knockouts Championship against “The Virtuosa” Deonna Purrazzo. All that and more, as we Brace for IMPACT for 11/03/20 this Tuesday at 8 PM on AXS tv.

    Chris Bey vs Trey Miguel

Though incredibly talented, Chris Bey and Trey Miguel have both been having a rough time in IMPACT Wrestling as of late. Trey’s been eyeing championship gold since Slammiversary in July, but he’s come up empty every time. He might have captured the unsanctioned TNA World Heavyweight Championship from Moose at Victory Road, had EC3 not stolen it. He also came up empty in the Six-Way Scramble at Bound For Glory. A win on Tuesday night would bring him back into X-Division Championship contention. This week he faces Chris Bey, who also participated in the Six-Way Scramble for the X-Division Championship at Bound For Glory. Bey hasn’t racked up a win since he lost the X-Division Championship at Emergence back in August. Bey took the pin in the #1 Contender’s match in September and the Six-Way Scramble at Bound For Glory. If he wants to reclaim the championship, he needs to score some pins. Can he break his slump against Trey Miguel?

    Ethan Page vs Doc Gallows

Last week, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson walked into the locker room to find Ethan Page and Josh Alexander of The North lecturing security on tag team wrestling. As The Good Brothers entered the room, however, Ethan Page changed his mind, instead of relating a story about the worst investment IMPACT! Wrestling ever made. Clearly, in reference to The Good Brothers, Page spoke about a hot tag team, IMPACT! Wrestling paid a lot of money for, despite a mediocre record. This started a brawl in the locker room, the second time The Good Brothers and The North have come to blows outside a ring. This week Doc Gallows is out to teach Ethan Page a lesson about running his mouth.

Heath Signs An IMPACT! Wrestling Contract

In the culmination of the #Heath4IMPACT campaign, the former Heath Slater and Rhino entered the Call Your Shot gauntlet match at Bound For Glory. Normally, the Call Your Shot Gauntlet winner is granted a championship match of their choosing; however, Heath and Rhino entered under a different stipulation. If Heath or Rhino won the match, Heath would earn a contract with IMPACT! Wrestling. If they failed, however, Rhino would lose his job. Fortunately, Rhino emerged victorious, lasting the entire match. This week, Heath signs on the dotted line and officially joins the IMPACT! Wrestling roster.

Rich Swann & Eddie Edwards vs Eric Young & Sami Callihan (w/Ken Shamrock)

Eddie Edwards and IMPACT! World Champion Rich Swann have had a very similar story as of late. Both men have been plagued by attackers, trying to put them on the shelf. In the aftermath of Slammiversary, Eric Young launched several assaults on Rich Swann’s ankle. Swann got his revenge at Bound For Glory, when he defeated EY for the IMPACT! World Championship. Similarly, Eddie Edwards was the victim of a mystery attacker on the September 22nd episode of IMPACT! Wrestling. The following week we learned that Ken Shamrock carried out the attack on instructions from Sami Callihan. Adding to things, last week on IMPACT! Wrestling, Callihan, and Shamrock made it clear that they had their eyes on Rich Swann’s IMPACT World Championship. Tuesday night, these four clash in a tag team match that’s bound to have major implications for the IMPACT World Championship picture.

Deonna Purrazzo vs Su Yung (c) – Knockouts Championship

When #1 Contender Kylie Rae no-showed Bound For Glory, Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo held an open challenge. The last thing she expected in that moment was for her challenge to be answered by a returning Su Yung. The evil Undead Bride decisively defeated The Virtuosa for the Knockouts Championship that night. Last week, Deonna Purrazzo threatened to file legal actions against IMPACT! Wrestling unless executive Scott D’Amore stripped Su Yung of the championship and awarded it to herself. However, D’Amore made a poignant counter offer. She could drag the case out in court for months, or she could prove her credentials by facing Su Yung in a rematch tonight. Will The Virtuosa reclaim the Knockouts Championship or has she been full of hot air this whole time?
