#NEWS NJPW Announce G1 Entrants And Blocks
Earlier this morning, New Japan Pro Wrestling officials announced the entrants and blocks for this years G1 Climax tournament. Add two more matches to the AEW vs CEO Fyter Fest later this month. SoCal Uncensored’s Christopher Daniels takes on Strong Hearts CIMA in one on one action. It was reported yesterday that All Elite Wrestling’s next event, Fyter Fest, will air live and for free via the B/R Live platform. AEW’s Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes spoke to ComicBook.com about the reasoning behind airing the event on B/R Live instead of PPV. At a press conference held yesterday, Alberto Del Patron (Del Rio) announced he will be heading a new promotion called Nacion Lucha Libre. A few days ago I wrote about Will Ospreay and the apparent lack of respect that New Japan Pro Wrestling was giving to the Junior Heavyweight division. Well, it seems that Ospreay has upped the ante after winning the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship from Dragon Lee at Dominion this past Sunday. This past weekend one of the UK’s brightest talents suffered a severe back injury at an event in the United Kingdom. While wrestling for Pro Wrestling EVE at their “She Rules” event, Loxton took a nasty bump in her match against Nightshade. It was enough for the referee to call a halt to the match as trainers rushed the ring to determine the severity of the injury. New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Super J Cup returns this August, it was announced today. With three shows taking place in the United States for the very first time in it’s history. Japanese wrestling legend Jushin Thunder Liger himself made the announcement.
