Friday Night Smackdown flashes back to last week as the events of the Roman Reigns and Dolph Ziggler matchup and afterward were shown. We see Reigns attempting to fight back but the ultimate restraint on him and the pouring of canned dog food. WWE Releases Four Superstars
In what could be described as the ‘Black Sunday of 2019’. The WWE announced the releases of four of its superstars. In an announcement made by the National Wrestling Alliance today, the promotion has announced a new face to their broadcast team. As current NWA World Champion, Nick Aldis made viewers aware a former champion will be at Into the Fire. Stu Bennett is set to join the broadcast team for the NWA at Into the Fire. With their upcoming pay per view set to take place on December 14th, the company announced that the former Wade Barrett will be joining the company. On Saturday, November 30th, AAW Heritage Champion, Jake Something defended his title against PACO. Fans knew that Something would be defending his title but there wasn’t widespread knowledge as to whom Something would be facing. With that secret being kept close to the vest, PACO came out and faced the much larger Something for his AAW Heritage Championship. Early on in the matchup, Something showed no regard for PACO.
