The former tag team champion accomplishments helped to blaze the standard for African-American wrestlers in not only the WWE but professionally wrestling as well. In a recent report from @Luchablog, AAA’s La Parka has passed away this evening. He was 56 years old. Fans may recall this past October La Parka suffered serious injuries after attempting a suicide dive during a match against RUSH. After the injury, he underwent successful surgery after sustaining a neck and cervical fracture. The intent of the surgery was to relieve the pressure and to repair the fractured vertebrae.
