At the most recent set of NXT TV tapings, the Undisputed Era’s Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly captured the NXT Tag Team Championships from the now former champs, The Street Profits.

This is the second time that Fish and O’Reilly have won the NXT Tag Team Championships. Its nearly two years ago that they claimed their first titles, defeating the now defunct SAnitY team.

Unfortunately the duo were only a few weeks into their reign when Bobby Fish suffered a rather nasty injury that left him on the shelf for a considerable amount of time. Roderick Strong was soon drafted into the stable at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, and took Bobby’s place as the tag team champion.

The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) have been seen on RAW quite a lot over the past four or five weeks. It was rumored that they may be called up to the Raw brand. With the loss of the tag team titles, that rumor seems more certain.

Earlier this year, Adam Cole prophecised that the Undisputed ERA would be dripping in gold this year. With himself as the NXT Champion and Kyle/Bobby as NXT Tag Champions, that prophecy looks all but assured of coming true.

Blake’s Take: I’m in two minds about this. I mean I’m super stoked that Undisputed Era are now tag champs again. But it also means that Dawkins and Ford are about to be mis-booked on the main roster. Normally I’m Mr Positive but the track record of NXT talent on the main roster isn’t that great ?
