On the heels of the epic Blood & Guts, AEW Dynamite is back for another memorable show as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 7/6/22. Can they build on the momentum of Forbidden Door and Blood & Guts?

We will get some huge title matches on Wednesday night. Jon Moxley will be defending the Interim AEW World Championship for the first time. Scorpio Sky faces a dangerous test for his TNT Championship. It could be another memorable night.  Let us find out more about the show in Rochester in the latest edition of AEW Dynamite IGNITE.

Christian Cage & Luchasaurus Appear Live

It was a shocking moment when Christian Cage brutally betrayed Jungle Boy three weeks ago on AEW Dynamite. It was even more surprising when Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy’s former tag team partner, seemingly betrayed him by joining forces with Christian Cage.

On this week’s AEW Dynamite, Christian Cage and Luchasaurus will be live. Will Luchasaurus explain why he has turned on his long-time ally? It will be interesting to hear why he turned on his friend of three years and what are the next steps for everyone’s formerly favorite dinosaur.

The Butcher & The Blade vs. Swerve in Our Glory

Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland have had some problems recently. When Strickland threw Lee out of the Casino Battle Royal on June 8th, it created a lot of friction between the two tag team partners. They did however win a tag team match at the Forbidden Door Buy-in over Suzuki-gun. Are Swerve in Our Glory back on track?

We might just find out on Wednesday night. Lee and Strickland are going to fight the veteran tag team of The Butcher & The Blade. If Swerve in Our Glory are not working together, they could be upset on AEW Dynamite.

Marina Shafir & Nyla Rose vs. Toni Storm & Thunder Rosa

The newest tag team of Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir is certainly a dangerous one. They attempted to take out Toni Storm after Shafir’s loss to Storm two weeks ago on AEW Dynamite. Thunder Rosa, Storm’s opponent at Forbidden Door, made the save that night. On Wednesday night, they tag together to fight the dangerous Shafir and Rose.

Toni Storm and Thunder Rosa had a physical title match at Forbidden Door. Storm lost the battle that night. Can Toni coexist with Rosa after that heartbreaking loss? If they can’t work together on AEW Dynamite they could be in huge trouble.

    Scorpio Sky (c) vs. Wardlow
    (AEW TNT Championship Street Fight)

After Wardlow destroyed MJF at AEW Double or Nothing, he could have entered the World title picture. But in a bit of a surprise, he turned his attention back to Scorpio Sky. He wanted the AEW TNT Championship and was willing to wait for Sky’s injuries to heal. That time is now.

The match on Wednesday night will be a Street Fight. It certainly seems to favor Wardlow. What will Sky and America’s Top Team possibly do to keep the title? We know that Dan Lambert and his MMA fighters will be around on Wednesday night. Can they possibly stop the unstoppable Wardlow? It will be fun to watch them try.

Jon Moxley (c) vs. Brody King
(Interim AEW World Championship Match )

Jon Moxley won the Interim AEW World Championship over Hiroshi Tanahashi at Forbidden Door. It was a special moment for Moxley to defeat one of New Japan’s biggest stars and win the AEW World Championship in front of a loud Chicago crowd. It is time for Moxley to defend his newly won World title.

His first defense will be against Brody King. It was certainly surprising to see King win the Royal Rampage. The House of Black member has mainly been in tag and six-man matches since debuting in January of 2022. What can he do in his biggest singles match to date in AEW? It will be a physical brawl with the champion on Wednesday night.

    What To Expect:

    • What is next for the competitors after the brutal “Blood & Guts” match?
    • When will Athena and Kris Statlander get their hands on Jade Cargill?
    • What tag title will FTR go after next?
