Welcome to the latest edition of AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 6/3/20! After the successful AEW Double or Nothing, last week’s show did a really good job of sitting up some new feuds. This week’s show will have two AEW title matches. Also, what will we learn about Fyter Fest on this week’s AEW Dynamite? It should make for an exciting show.

    Brian Cage in Action

Brian Cage surprised everyone by debuting and winning the Casino Ladder Match at Double or Nothing. He wasted no time in challenging AEW World Champion Jon Moxley to a title match at AEW Fyter Fest. How will the top challenger fare in his return to action this week?

On last week’s Dynamite, Brian Cage had his singles debut. As Jon Moxley watched on from the announce table, Cage destroyed his opponent in under 90 seconds. Brian Cage will be in action again on Wednesday night. What unfortunate soul will be in Cage’s way tonight?

    FTR Interview with Tony Schiavone

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler made their long-awaited AEW debut last week. They saved the Young Bucks from the Butcher and the Blade. After years of back and forth on social media, two of the best teams met face to face in the ring for the first time. As the Young Bucks went to thank them,  FTR turned their backs on the Young Bucks and simply left.

This week FTR will have a sit-down interview with Tony Schiavone. Hopefully, we will learn a few things. What brought them to AEW? Why did they save the Young Bucks only to turn their backs on them? It should be an interesting moment to hear them talk for the first time in All Elite Wrestling.

    Chris Jericho vs. Colt Cabana

If you are asking Chris Jericho, he was moments away from knocking out Mike Tyson. Sadly, Colt Cabana stopped him from doing so. That is Jericho’s story and he is sticking to it.

It is time for his revenge. This is the first-ever singles match between the two long-time veterans. Can Colt Cabana pull off his biggest win since joining AEW? Or will Chris Jericho get his revenge after a series of setbacks?

    Nyla Rose vs. Big Swole

Big Swole hasn’t wrestled on AEW television since March 4th. That is pretty surprising to learn since she has been a pretty active member of the live crowds on recent AEW Dynamites and AEW Double or Nothing. She is back in action and has picked quite the opponent in Nyla Rose.

Nyla Rose is probably not in a very good mood after losing her title to Hikaru Shida at Double or Nothing. This will be her opportunity to get back into Women’s title contention. When you have two competitors with something to prove then it should be a good match-up.

    AEW World Tag Team Championship
Kenny Omega & Hangman Page (c) vs. Jimmy Havoc & Kip Sabian

Kenny Omega & Hangman Page defeated the Young Bucks at AEW Revolution on February 29th. It was arguably one of the best tag team matches in years. This was also the last time the Tag Champions defended their titles and even worked as a tag team.

It is now time for them to defend their titles for the first time in over three months. Will they have ring rust as they defend their titles against Jimmy Havoc & Kip Sabin? That team has been quite active in recent months as they have won three straight tag team matches including defeating SCU last week to gain this opportunity. Can the champions defeat one on the hottest teams in the tag division after such a long layoff? It will be quite a test, to say the least.

    TNT Championship
    Cody (c) vs. Jungle Boy

Cody finally won a major title in AEW Double or Nothing overcoming Lance Archer. Cody vowed to be an active Champion and defend his TNT Championship each and every week in an open challenge. He has to get by Jungle Boy first.

Jungle Boy has had some mixed success in recent weeks but was able to win the TNT Championship Battle Royal last week. This earned him a shot against Cody. Jungle Boy is one of the best young talents in AEW. He took Chris Jericho to a time limit draw last year and had an amazing match against MJF at Double or Nothing. He just needs a breakthrough moment. Could it come against Cody on Wednesday? It will be fun to watch and find out.
