Let us learn more about this special card in New York City in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

MJF In Action
It was certainly a surprise when MJF made his return to All Elite Wrestling for the first time since September. And he wasted no time getting back into the main event scene. He used his Casino Gauntlet contract to make it a 4-Way World Championship match at Worlds End.
On Wednesday night, MJF will be back in action for the first time since AEW All Out in September. Who will he face? And will he spend more time bragging about his victory than the actual in-ring time? We will find out soon.

Mina Shirakawa vs. Marina Shafir
On last week’s Dynamite, a chaotic 8-Woman Tag Match occurred. The actions of Marina Shafir towards “Timeless” Toni Storm enraged Mina Shirakawa. Mina challenged Shafir to a match on Christmas Eve.
The feud between these two wrestlers has been going on for weeks now. On the December 3rd edition of Dynamite, the Timeless Time Bombs defeated Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne in a Hardcore Holiday Death Match.
Can Shirakawa pick up another victory and get revenge for the “Timeless” one? The lesson is: Don’t Mess with Mina?

Roderick Strong vs. Máscara Dorada
(Continental Classic Blue League)
It is a Battle of Desperate Wrestlers in the Continental Classic. Roderick Strong has zero points in the Blue League. He is eliminated from advancing in the tournament, but that won’t prevent this prideful veteran from seeking his first points.
Máscara Dorada has three points after an upset victory over Claudio Castagnoli. He is still alive in the Blue League. Can he pick up a huge win and stay alive on Christmas Eve?

Pac vs. Jungle Jack Perry
(Continental Classic Gold League)
The Gold League is a pure chaos heading into the final two nights of the tournament. Five wrestlers have six points. Jungle Jack Perry has three points. Who will be the two wrestlers to advance to the semifinals at Worlds End?
Pac has defeated Speedball Bailey and Kyle Fletcher in the tournament. He can break the logjam at the top of the Gold League, but he desperately needs to win on Wednesday night.
Jungle Jack Perry is the only wrestler without six points in the Gold League. But if he wins on Wednesday night? Well, the chaos only grows.

Konosuke Takeshita vs. Orange Cassidy
(Continental Classic Blue League)
It has been a banner year for Konosuke Takeshita. He is the reigning IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. He is also tied for the lead of the Blue League with just two matches left. He can clinch his spot in the semifinals with a victory on Christmas Eve.
Enter Orange Cassidy. Cassidy has back-to-back wins in the Continental Classic. With a victory of Takeshita, he will be in the driver’s seat in the Blue League. And it is best to never underestimate Orange Cassidy.

Ricochet vs. Bandido
(Dynamite Diamond Ring Final)
It is the Battle of the Champions on Christmas Eve! AEW National Champion Ricochet will be facing the ROH World Champion Bandido in the Dynamite Diamond Ring Final. For the first time since 2019, a wrestler not named MJF will hold the ring.
We have some even higher stakes this year. The winner of the Dynamite Diamond Ring will also receive a World Title shot at Maximum Carnage in January.
We know The Demand will try to find a way to help Ricochet on Wednesday night. Can Bandido overcome the odds and win this prestigious prize?
What To Expect:
- What will happen in the Face-to-Face interview between Kris Statlander and Jamie Hayter?
- Will we hear from AEW World Champion Samoa Joe before Saturday night?
