This evening AEW presents AEW Battle of the Belts IV right after AEW Rampage. With three matches on tap, will we see any or all new champions crowned for this event? Check out our preview below to find out more.

AEW Battle of the Belts IV is set to follow Friday, October 7th’s edition of AEW Rampage. The one-hour TNT special will again feature three championship matches with AEW and ROH gold on the line in some exciting matchups.

    AEW All-Atlantic Championship:

AEW All Atlantic Champion PAC will have a busy night ahead of him Friday. First, on Rampage, he will defend his AEW Trios Championships alongside The Lucha Bros against The Dark Order. Then, in what could take place less than an hour later, “The Bastard” will put his All-Atlantic Championship on the line against Trent Berreta.

This matchup will be the next in the long-standing rivalry of The Best Friends and Death Triangle. Death Triangle certainly have gotten the better of The Best Friends in their last few outings. PAC and The Lucha Bros first won the titles against The Best Friends on the September 7th edition of AEW Dynamite. PAC is also coming off of a successful title defence against Beretta’s stablemate Orange Cassidy two weeks ago at Dynamite: Grand Slam.

Will Death Triangle and The Best Friends get involved? Will PAC wrestling two matches in one night play a factor in the match?

    AEW TBS Championship:
Jade Cargill (c) vs. Willow Nightingale

Jade Cargill will put her 37-0 undefeated streak and TBS Championship on the line against Willow Nightingale. This matchup will be the pair’s third encounter, with Cargill dominating both previous bouts, the last of which taking place at June’s Road Rager.

Nightingale teamed up with Athena and Toni Storm to defeat the trio of Jamie Hayter, Penelope Ford and Serena Deeb. Nightingale scored the pin for her team, before challenging the TBS Champion in a post-match interview. Cargill and the baddies came in and answered the challenge, with Cargill mentioning that she had beaten Nightingale twice already.

Can Nightingale pull off the biggest upset in the history of AEW’s women’s division, or will Cargill continue her streak to 38-0?

AEW Battle of the Belts IV
    ROH World Tag Team Championship:
FTR (c) vs. Gates of Agony

    [via AEW]
The Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions FTR are putting one of their three sets of hardware on the line against Gates of Agony. Kaun and Toa Liona are looking for their first taste of ROH gold, but Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler aren’t going down without a fight. Harwood recently called out AEW President Tony Khan, begging for him to book FTR once again.

Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite saw Gates of Agony attack Wardlow and Samoa Joe, after Wardlow had successfully defended the TNT Championship against “The Machine” Brian Cage. Gates of Agony and Cage make up the ROH faction known as The Embassy. This brought out FTR, who evened the odds against the attackers… staring down their now-next challengers.

Have the “top guys” in FTR finally met their match in Gates of Agony?

AEW Battle of the Belts IV features some of AEW’s top talent, highlighting some of All Elite Wrestling’s and Ring of Honor’s champions. Which of this night’s champions will be retaining and which one’s will walk out on the losing end of their title defenses?

Please share with us what you expect to take place with AEW Battle of the Belts IV in the comment section below.
