On Saturday, October 7th, 2023 World Wrestling Entertainment presents WWE Fastlane 2023. This year’s Fastlane comes to us appropriately from Indianapolis, Indiana.

It features three title matches and five matches of this writing in total. Let’s dive right in.

    WWE Fastlane 2023
Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) vs. LWO – Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar & Joaquin Wilde (or Cruz Del Toro)

The Street Profits have gotten a bit more aggressive since pairing up with Bobby Lashley. They’ve been attacking the LWO in recent weeks, which has set up this six-man tag team match.

Can the Street Profits new found change start them on the road to greater success? Will the LWO be a roadblock in the Profits street?

    WWE Women’s Championship:
IYO SKY (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka

SKY cashed in the Money in the Bank contract on Bianca Belair, who had just won the title in a triple threat match with Charlotte and Asuka at SummerSlam. So here would be Askua and Charlotte’s “rematch”.

SKY is doing this as a triple threat after Bayley made the match on SKY’s behalf. SKY did not look to be happy at getting two opponents instead of one. Will SKY manage to hold on to the title? Can Asuka or Flair regain the title? Will the outcome have any effect on Damage CTRL?

    Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships:
The Judgment Day – Finn Balor & Damian Priest (c) vs. Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso

The Judgment Day captured the tag titles from Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, so now Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso step up to the Judgment Day. These eight superstars have been battling in various combinations over the past couple of months.

Will the Judgment Day reign supreme? Can Uso and Rhodes capture the titles?

    WWE Fastlane 2023
    World Heavyweight Championship –
    Last Man Standing Match:

Seth “Freakin” Rollins (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Nakamura has made this feud all about the condition of Rollins’s back. He focused on it at Payback and now gets to have greater focus here in the Last Man Standing match. Rollins won their Payback match, but Nakamura attacked Rollins after Payback went off the air to bring about this rematch. What could happen to Nakamura’s push following this event?

Can Nakamura capture the title? Will Rollins’s back survive in a Last Man Standing match? Will Senor Money in the Bank, Damian Priest cash in? It would be an ideal match to do so.

    WWE Fastlane 2023
John Cena & LA Knight vs. Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa

Cena returned looking for a fight with The Bloodline. After the Bloodline took out Cena’s original partner, AJ Styles, LA Knight stepped up to the plate to even the odds. These four men have seemingly been on a collision course to face one another and its finally come to a head.

Of all those involved, who has the most to gain and who has the most to lose? With Roman Reigns seemingly absent sine SummerSlam, one has to wonder if and will he play a key role in the outcome of this match? Will Uso and Sikoa please their tribal chief or disappoint him? Tune in to find out!
