We are treading in new territory for the black and gold brand as we embrace the era of Keith Lee as the brand’s double champion. But between the Era of Limitless and a faint tick-tock in the wind, NXT has become a warzone over the brand’s top prizes. What lies ahead of Santos Escobar and his reign over 205 Live? Who will Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel face next for tag team supremacy? Can Io Shirai continue to carry the torch of her women’s division? And how long will Keith Lee hold court over two pieces of NXT gold? It’s time for us to preview what’s to come in this edition of Coming up NXT (Time Is Ticking).

Time Is Ticking | Coming Up NXT 7/15/20
    Heavy Is The Head

After another amazing match up of women’s in-ring prowess that saw Io Shirai once again hold the NXT Women’s Championship over her head for the 2nd straight week, she was met with another woman convinced she is destined to hold the title… Dakota Kai. This week on NXT, we are for certain to hear from NXT’s resident Lady Killer as Kai will be sure to announce her intentions to be next in line for a title shot. But we are sure to see Io lurking in the shadows for some retribution on the Kiwi kicker.

After an incident with a tank, Robert Stone and his brand are steadily suffering by the day. But the silver tongue hotshot has not gone without spreading lies about others for his enjoyment. And with an embarrassing drawing courtesy of Dexter Lumis displaying his unfortunate run-in with Shotzi Blackheart during Great American Bash, Stone has laid the groundwork for this clash as Lumis takes on Killian Dain on this week’s NXT. Will Lumis continues to artistically strike out another opponent? Or will Dain slow down the pen game of the silent assassin? And will Robert Stone lay in the wings to watch the destruction he’s created?

    Preparation Time

After a successful win against his friend in arms Dominik Dijakovic, Keith Lee was met with another task… figuring out when the clock will strike midnight on his double title reigns as Scarlett has brought her infamous hourglass to the ring. But before a decision s made on if and when Karrion Kross will face The Limitless One, the possible main event this week has been decided as Kross will face Dijakovic one on one. Will Dijakovic be able to slow down time’s tormentor or will Kross add another notch in his belt on his way to an inevitable title shot?

Also on the show, we should hear more from the current cartel of the NXT, El Legado De Fantasma as Joquain Wilde, Raul Mendoza, and the NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar continue to reign over the division. We should also finally see who steps up to face NXT Tag Team Champions, Imperium, as NXT continues to add more teams to an already stacked division.

The ongoing battle between two of NXT’s most brash men in Oney Lorcan and Timothy Thatcher will continue as Oney refuses to accept Thatcher’s win at The Great American Bash. Is Thatcher living in Oney’s head rent-free or is Lorcan up to the task to beat the wrestling teacher a lesson in another clash. And finally, the news dropped that William Regal has a huge announcement lined up for this week’s edition of NXT. With so much influx in every division, what will the GM have planned this week?

And that was Coming Up NXT for 7/22/20. Tune in Wednesday as NXT is only on the USA Network!
