For the ROH TV for Episode #527 preview, three matches are again slated to occur this week. Each of these matches will pit VLNCE UNLTD members against members of The Foundation. The first match sees Rhett Titus against Tony Deppen. The second match involves Chris Dickinson and Brody King against Jonathan Gresham and Tracy Williams. Finally, former ROH World Champion Jay Lethal squares off against Homicide.

ROH TV Preview for Episode #527
    Rhett Titus vs Tony Deppen

Rhett Titus squares up against VLNCE UNLD member Tony Deppen on the heels of last week’s eight-man tag. Both men bring with them several years of experience. With both men likely competing to move up the ranks in the Pure Division, tonight’s win is crucial. But, for either man, it is critical to do more than walk away with bragging rights coming out of this match.

This match will be the fourth match that these two will be in the ring together. Their only singles match against one another was a part of ICW’s Rebirth event in 2018. It was during that match that Titus was victorious over Deppen. So will this be a case of history repeating itself? Be sure to check out this week’s episode to find out.

Chris Dickinson & Brody King vs. Jonathan Gresham and Tracy Williams

In the second of two VLNCE UNLD against The Foundation matches, we have a tag team action this time. After Dickinson & Homicide lost the ROH tag team titles, it would be this match that mix up VLNCE UNLD’s groupings. While Brody King has challenged for the World Championship, it is this match where he and faction-mate Dickinson that look to put Gresham and Williams down. Unfortunately, the Foundation’s Gresham and Williams will not stand for it.

It will be a change of pace for Gresham, who has been a long-standing singles member of The Faction. The former ROH Pure Champion will this time around team with Hot Sauce Tracy Williams to face off with the much larger VLNCE UNLTD team members. What is great about this match is that everyone is the same size on the mat despite the size difference between the two teams. It will likely be the match of the night.

ROH TV Preview for Episode #527
    Homicide vs. Jay Lethal

Between these two men is likely 40 years of experience. Both men have captured championship after championship. For both Jay Lethal and Homicide, this will be the 35th match that the two women have stood across the ring from one another. It was nearly twenty years ago when the two men faced one another at Ring of Honor’s Final Battle 2002.

On this night, however, both men are in different places in their careers. As the forefather of VLNCE UNLTD, Homicide has as much to give to his teammates as Lethal does to his. Both men are sure to come at each other from every angle. They are as technically sound as anyone on the Ring of Honor roster today. Does a win here move Lethal back into the Ring of Honor World title picture? Or could this be Homicide’s chance to move back up the ranks of the World title picture?
