#Report: Flamita Signs One Year Deal With RoH

Lucha superstar Flamita has signed a one year deal with Ring Of Honor (RoH) according to reports from Lucha Blog and Fightful.

    Below is the announcement:

Flamita, a mainstay in promotions such as The Crash, Dragon Gate, Lucha Underground, and PROGRESS Wrestling, will apparently start with RoH at their PPV Final Battle on December 13.

If you’re unfamiliar with Flamita’s work, here is a quick highlights package from his match against Mike Bailey at RoH’s recent Honor United tour of the United Kingdom. He was on the tour taking fellow tag partner Bandido’s place when Bandido injured his knee.

Blake’s Take – Now I didn’t know much about Flamita until he appeared at PROGRESS Wrestling’s Super Strong Style 16 tournament a few years ago. It wasn’t long after that I became a fan of his. A lucha talent that can wrestle any style you want. Strong style?

You got it! Technical? Sure! Lucha? Oh yes! I don’t think it’s a straight swap with Bandido at all. There has been a recent influx of lucha talent in RoH. With the aforementioned Bandido and RUSH as RoH Champion, there seems to be a concerted effort to sign more luchas. And Flamita is one of the best around today
