It looks like Stardom is back to doing shows again with an audience this time around. And to add more excitement to this next show, Stardom is doing their Cinderella Tournament a month early this year.

The Cinderella Tournament is their annual single-elimination tournament where the winner of the match will be able to wear a pretty dress and gets to request any match they want. It could be a title match, a dream match, or just someone to settle the score with. Last year’s winner was Arisa Hoshiki and she was able to challenge Momo Watanabe for the Wonder of Stardom Championship Match. Each match has a ten-minute time limit and you can win by pinfall, submission, or throwing them over the top rope. Let’s take a look at the participants and their matches.

Looking over at the list, we have some great match-ups without any random throw-in from the lower card, meaning it can be anyone’s game. The best part about this tournament, it’s usually unpredictable with outcomes in the first round along with winners of the tournament, making it exciting for the fans or new viewers that are getting into the product. Which match should you look forward to the first round? Honestly, gonna have to go with Jungle and Giulia, mostly due to the press conference they were apart of where Jungle was speaking Italian to mock Giulia, which is great and you should see it as it’s posted on their Youtube channel.

There’s one more thing Stardom is willing to do for their fans.

If you go to their Youtube channel, you can see all of the first-round matches for free. The rest of the show will be on their streaming service later on that night. Readers should consider watching the tournament. It is a great card and full of excitement. The payoff for the winner is usually a treat. The last two winners, Momo Watanabe and Arisa Hoshiki were able to challenge for the Wonder of Stardom Championship. Both women won the title on separate occasions.

So who’s going to win the tournament? If it were up to me, I’d go with Tam Nakano to challenge Arisa for the Wonder of Stardom Championship to finally win her first singles match at the Stardom Cinderella tournament. However, not sure if they’ll have people challenge for the white belt three consecutive years. If there would be an upset, Giulia would get the win and possibly challenge Hana Kimura in a singles match since the last time they fought one-on-one, it was a draw with the time limit.

So if you’re interested in watching some quality Joshi wrestling to take your mind off of this COVID-19 stuff, check out Stardom and again, the first round will be on their Youtube channel for free and be up in full on their service later that night. I hope you all take a gander at it and be entertained.
