On Wednesday, November 6th, 2002, a video promoting the NWA 54th Anniversary show that saw plenty of NWA-TNA wrestlers involved in the show with NWA-TNA PPV 20.

Mike Tenay and Don West welcome everyone to the show. Tenay mentions the tournament and two title matches. Tag Team Championships and the X-Division Championship will be defended. Jeff Jarrett vs. Curt Hennig. Brian Lawler vs. Syxx Pac. AJ Styles defends the X-Division Championship against rival Jerry Lynn. “Cowboy” James Storm and “Wildcat” Chris Harris defend the NWA World Tag Team Championships against The New Church Slash and Brian Lee with James Mitchell.
A video promoting the Miss TNA match. The attack by Mortimer Plumtree on Priscilla a couple of weeks ago and Plumtree spanking Priscilla three or four times last week.
Backstage, Goldylocks is with Bruce and Lenny Lane. Bruce is sporting some unique high heels. Goldylocks says Those are really nice shoes maybe you will let me barrow them when wego out? Bruce replies no. Goldylocks says There’s been a lot of speculation about you? You’re truly a b*tch. What I was going to ask you, we haven’t seen Lenny in awhile What’s the deal with the Rainbow Express? I thought the two of you broke up.
Bruce says We had a love spat the fact is, Lenny got jealous of the crown. We made up Lane doesn’t say anything. Bruce says I made Lenny runner up to Miss TNA Lane will defend the crown if Bruce can’t fulfill his duties as Miss TNA, Lenny Lane will substitute for Bruce as Miss TNA. As they go back to the ring one of the TNA girl dances in a cage.

Jorge Estrada with Priscilla vs. Bruce with Lenny Lane
Both men trade roll ups until Estrada connects with a few arm drags and a vertical suplex. Estrada with a hip toss into a neck breaker goes for a pin-fall gets two. Priscilla gets on the apron for some reason. Bruce catches Estrada and Lane connects with a dropkick off the middle rope allowing Bruce goes for a pin-fall gets two. Bruce follows up with a bodyslam but can’t put Estrada away.
Estrada manages to take Lane over with a northern lights suplex and drop back for a cover on Bruce gets a two count. Bruce gouges Estrada eyes to regain the advantage. Estrada with a springboard cross body goes for a pin-fall gets two. Bruce backdrops Estrada to the apron and attempts a sunset flip power bomb. Estrada counters with a Hurricanrana on the floor! Bruce comes back with a sunset pin attempt in the ring for a two count.
Estrada with a back suplex and a bulldog that has both men down in the ring. Estrada with a couple of clotheslines, backdrop and a a bodyslam. Estrada hits the rolling fireman’s carry but Bruce blocks a moonsault by getting his knees up. Bruce with a swinging slam that has Estrada land on his midsection. Priscilla enters to attack Bruce. Estrada dropkicks Bruce to the floor where Lane chases after Priscilla.
Estrada with a slingshot dive onto both Lane and Bruce on the floor. Bruce shoves Lane against the guardrail. Bruce chases after Priscilla but slips on Lane’s banana peal. Bruce is unable to make it back to the ring. Winner Jorge Estrada by Countout. Ring announcer Jeremy Borash announces it wasn’t an intentional disqualification so still, Miss TNA Bruce.
After the match, Estrada gives the crown to Priscilla, Lane gets in the ring takes the crown back and sash off Priscilla gets out of the ring drops the crown & sash onto Bruce who’s laying on the floor at ringside.
Mike Tenay promotes some shows taking place around the country for NWA. They alternate camera shots one of the TNA girls dances in cages.
Backstage, Goldylocks is with Sonny Siaki. Siaki is whispering something into Goldylocks ear. Siaki says that he is the hottest commodity in all of wrestling. Sonny Siaki says he’s the reason the ladies watch NWA-TNA PPVs. Siaki is the past, present and future for TNA. Siaki is destined to become the Goldylocks laughs to herself when Siaki says he’ll become NWA-TNA World Champion. “Out with the old and in with the new”.
Siaki says that Goldylocks wants him bad, and that it is obvious. Siaki says Goldylocks bid in a silent auction to be his manager Goldylocks says Siaki is crazy. Siaki says but, TNA management wouldn’t allow it because; she works for TNA. Siaki tells Goldylocks after I beat BG James tonight I’ll let you feel my love. Goldylocks replies Oh God! At the end the interview.
We take a look at the brackets thus far for the number one contender spot for the NWA-TNA World Championship.
Before the next match, BG James cuts a promo on Sonny Siaki saying that Siaki is as sexy as his buttocks. BG says that he can make Siaki or he can break him. BG James asks if Siaki likes to dance and tells Siaki that they are going to do the BG Shuffle. The G stands for Get it, Got it Good!
BG James vs. Sonny Siaki in a #1 contenders tournament semi-final match
Siaki attacks BG James before the bell with several right hands. BG James with several left jabs and a big boot after missing a forearm shot. BG James with a clothesline in the corner and several kicks to Siaki’s midsection goes for a pin-fall gets two. BG James works on Siaki’s arm with a wrist lock. They trade a series of right hands until Siaki trips BG James down and drops a few elbows to BG James’ left knee and follows up with a leg drop to the knee as well.
Siaki with a standing leg lock for a few moments. BG James battles out and rolls up Siaki gets two. Siaki dropkicks BG James’ knee to regain control. Siaki continues to work on BG James’ left knee for several moments, really slowing the match down. BG James manages to kick Siaki over the top to the floor and soon follows Siaki to the floor. BG James rams Siaki face first into the announcers table and apron.
BG James re-enters the ring but his knee is kicked by Siaki. Siaki again continue to work on BG James’ left knee. BG James misses a clothesline, which allows Siaki to hit a spinning neck breaker. Jerry Lynn comes down to ringside and he distracts Siaki. BG James with a forearm smash and drops a knee off the ropes goes for a pin-fall gets two. BG James hits the pump handle slam on Siaki goes for a pin-fall gets the 1-2-3!
Winner BG James to advance in the #1 contenders tournament for NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

Backstage, Goldylocks is with the NWA-TNA World Tag Team Champions, “Wildcat” Chris Harris and “Cowboy” James Storm. Harris says that they are going to do what they want whenever they want to do it. “We aren’t going to take anymore shit”. Harris says that he hasn’t slept in a week because of what the New Church did to them last week. Harris tells the fans that a little evil runs in his body, too.
James Storm asks Jim Mitchell if he thinks he can kill a cowboy. Storm puts himself over as some kind of bad*sa some of a b*tch. “You aint seen hell, yet.. Sorry about your damn luck, boys”.
Before the next match, Jim Mitchell calls Harris and Storm girls. Mitchell says that Lee and Slash see him as their personal messiah. Mitchell has made sure that the New Church will have the champions pay for ignorance.

Harris and Storm charge the ring and clothesline the challengers to the floor. Harris dives onto Lee as Storm brawls with Slash. Slash rams Storm head first into a steel chair. Storm with a drop toe hold on Slash sending him face first into the chair as well. Harris and Storm drop Lee chest first across the guard rail. Slash is busted open thanks to Storm. Harris with a running clothesline in the corner on Slash and Storm meets him with a super kick.
Harris with a top rope elbow drop on Slash goes for a pin-fall gets two. Harris hits the Death Sentence on Slash but they do not go for the cover. Lee trips Storm up as he is sent into the ropes and sends Storm hard into the guardrail. Jim Mitchell has a spike uses it to gouge at Storm’s forehead. Lee sends Harris into the guardrail. New Church with a side Russian leg sweep/big boot combo on Storm.
Storm is busted open as well. New Church with a side slam/forearm drop off the top combo on Storm goes for a pin-fall gets two. Slash takes Storm down with a bodyslam and goes up top. Slash misses a somersault splash as Storm managed to move out of the way. Storm manages to tag in Harris who cleans house with left hands. Harris with a running bulldog on Lee and hits the Catatonic as well.
Slash enters and nails Harris with a chair behind the referees back. Lee covers but Harris manages to kick out. Harris is now busted open as well. Slash is bleeding quite a bit. Harris takes both Lee and Slash down with a clothesline. Storm gets the tag and cleans house with right hands. Mitchell gives Lee the spike and Lee hits both Harris and Storm leading to the disqualification.

After the match, the New Church continue to beat down on “Wildcat” Chris Harris & Cowboys” James Storm until security run down. Bob Armstrong makes his way down to ringside. Armstrong just tells them to get to the backstage area.

Syxx-Pac vs. Brian Lawler with his girlfriend April in a #1 contenders tournament semi-final
Lawler managed to somehow attack Syxx-Pac from behind as he made his way to the ring. Lawler tells April to slap Syxx-Pac, but she doesn’t want to. Lawler works on Syxx-Pac with right hands. Lawler asks what is up with April before going back to work on Syxx-Pac. Syxx-Pac takes several right hands but they appear to just make him angry. Lawler chokes Syxx-Pac.
Syxx-Pac with right hands of his own until Lawler pokes Syxx-Pac in the eyes and follows up with a neck breaker. Lawler again wants April to slap Syxx-Pac but she will not to it. Syxx-Pac with a spinning back kick that sends Lawler off the apron to the floor. Syxx-Pac with more right hands but misses one and is rammed into the ring post. Lawler with a clothesline and heads to the top rope.
Lawler leaps off and misses the Hip Hop Drop. Syxx with a couple of standing spinning heel kicks. Syxx with a sit down power bomb as well, reversing a Hurricanrana attempt. Syxx with the Bronco Buster in the corner. Syxx goes to the floor and makes out with April. Lawler leaps to the floor but is met with a right hand. Lawler manages to connect with a super kick to regain control.
Lawler has April get onto the apron but Syxx-Pac manages to comeback with the X-Factor, goes for a pin-fall gets the 1-2-3!
Winner Syxx-Pac advances in the #1 contenders tournament.
After the match, Syxx-Pac leaves the ring with April and they head to the backstage area. Lawler is in the ring and is crying once again. Lawler clutches his chest and passes out. April runs back to the ring to check on Lawler.
Mike Tenay and Don West go over what we just saw as one of the TNA girl dances in a cage. Mike Tenay sat down with Ron Killings “a couple of days ago”. Killings tells Tenay that he is the only guy he can trust in TNA. Killings says that Mr. Wrestling III has outsmarted him and that he has a contract for the Mr. Wrestling III guy. Killings has already signed the contract and gives the contract to Tenay. Killings wants Mr. Wrestling III to sign the contract and fight him.

Jeff Jarrett’s music hits and Jarrett makes his way down to the ring. Jarrett wants Mike Tenay to enter the ring. Jarrett knows that Killings is at home watching the show. Jarrett believes that Killings is as dumb as Scott Hall, BG James and Curt Hennig have been saying. Jarrett says that for weeks people have been saying he is Mr. Wrestling III. Jarrett says all he has to do it sign the contract to get his title shot.
Jarrett looks over the contracts and rips the contract up. Jarrett tells Tenay and NWA that he has waited for twenty weeks to get a title shot. Jarrett says in two weeks from tonight that he will be facing Killings for the title and he will be the new NWA-TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Jarrett is NOT Mr. Wrestling III.
Kid Kash vs. Joel Maximo vs. Jose Maximo vs. Ace Steel vs. Tony Mamaluke Tables Elimination match to become the #1 contender to the NWA-TNA X-Division Championship
Mamaluke slides into the ring and attacks Joel before the fifth entrant, Ace Steel can make it to the ring. Jose with a Hurricanrana on Steel early on and a body scissors arm drag on Steel as well. Steel with a running dropkick on Jose in the corner sending him to the floor. Joel with a springboard moonsault onto Steel and Jose on the floor. Mamaluke with a top rope cross body onto all three men on the floor.
Kid Kash takes all four men out with a double springboard somersault dive on the floor. Kash with a springboard clothesline on Steel in the ring. Steel drives Kash neck first across his knee and follows up with a back suplex. Steel continues his offense with a dropkick off the middle rope on a seated Kash. Joel leaps off the middle rope but Mamaluke locks in a arm bar until Jose enters and breaks up the move.
Kash with a nice double springboard Hurricanrana on Joel. Kash attempts a Hurricanrana on the floor on Joel, but Joel manages to block it and power bombs Kash on the floor. Steel prevents the Spanish Fly from happening on Mamaluke. Mamaluke with a superplex on Jose and locks in a modified front face lock. Steel places a table on top of the top turnbuckle. Mamaluke places Jose on another table in the middle of the ring.
Mamaluke and Steel battle on top of the table on the top turnbuckle. Steel plants Mamaluke off the table with a sit-out spine buster! Mamaluke drives Steel through a table in the corner with a tornado DDT.
Tony Mamaluke drives Ace Steel through a table. Ace Steel has been eliminated.
Mamaluke with a sick tornado DDT off the apron onto Joel on the entrance ramp! Mamaluke, with a drop toe hold on Kash ramming Kash head first into the table on the floor. Mamaluke sets two tables up on the floor. Kash stops Mamaluke with a couple of boots. Mamaluke is placed on the tables, and Jose leaps off the top rope connecting with a moonsault through the table!
Jose Maximo drives Tony Mamaluke through a table. Tony Mamaluke has been eliminated.
Joel takes Kash down with a saito suplex in the ring. Kash with a brain buster driving Joel down across his knee. Kash and Jose trade a series of chops until Kash connects with a fisherman buster across his knee. Kash with a double Hurricanrana and dropkick on Joel Maximo and Jose Maximo. Kash sets up a table on the floor. Joel Maximo & Jose Maximo. with a double team ace crusher on Kash to regain control of the match.
Kash clotheslines both Maximo Brothers over the top to the floor. Kash sends Jose into the guard rail and throws a steel chair right in Jose Maximo’s face. Kash places Jose on a table and goes to the top but Joel stops Kash. Jose attempts a tornado DDT but Kash blocks it. Kash drives Jose off the top with a Hurricanrana and Jose flips onto Joel on the table!
Third/Fourth Eliminations: Kid Kash drives Joel and Jose Maximo through a table Joel & Jose Maximo have been eliminated.
Winner and #1 Contender to the NWA X-Division Championship Kid Kash.
After the match, Kid Kash celebrates his win and limps to the backstage area. A video promoting the Curt Hennig and Jeff Jarrett feud over the past several weeks.
Before the next match, Jeff Jarrett grabs a microphone. Jarrett says that no one has seen Curt Hennig in the building tonight. Jarrett says he was inches away from taking away Hennig’s AWA title when he was nineteen years old. Jarrett puts over that he was the WWF Intercontinental Champion seven times and a four time WCW World Heavyweight Champion.
Both, are things Hennig can’t say he was. Jarrett doesn’t blame Hennig for not showing up after the beating he suffered last week.

Hennig runs out of the crowd, wearing street clothes and works on Jarrett with several right hands. Hennig punts Jarrett in the side and delivers several chops on the floor. They brawl into the crowd where Hennig punches Scott Armstrong knocking him out! Hennig chokes Jarrett with his belt. Jarrett hits Hennig with a steel chair. Hennig uses a fans crutch and hits Jarrett. Jarrett uses the same crutch to hit Hennig.
Hennig whips Jarrett with his belt and chokes Jarrett for a few moments. They trade a series of right hands in the crowd. Hennig with several chair shots. Hennig hits referee Andrew Thomas with the chair! Hennig sends Jarrett into the ring and hits the Hennig Plex, three times. A third referee Rudy Charles comes down to the ring and calls for the bell. Rudy Charles has disqualified Curt Hennig.
Winner By DQ Jeff Jarrett to advance in the #1 contenders tournament for NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
After the match, several security guys run down and Hennig knocks them all down with right hands. NWA representative “Bullet” Bob Armstrong has come down to ringside to check on his son referee Scott Armstrong. At ringside, Jeremy Borash and referee Rudy Charles check on referee Andrew Thomas.

NWA X-Division Championship Lynn and Styles trade wrist locks in the early moments until Styles arm drags Jerry Lynn down and taunts the challenger. After some more wrist lock exchanges, Lynn takes Styles down with a arm drag of his own. A series of headlocks by both men to continue a rather slow start to the match. They exchange some missed opportunities and have a stand still.
Lynn with a springboard cross body off the middle rope but Styles comes back with a leg trip goes for a pin-fall gets two. Styles lands on his feet following a catapult attempt, but Lynn drives Styles down with a clothesline goes for a pin-fall gets two. Lynn with a headlock to slow down, the pace of the match. Lynn with a tilt a whirl backbreaker goes for a pin-fall gets two.
Lynn continues his offense with a bow and arrow which Styles gets out of and lands on Lynn for a two count. Lynn drops Styles throat first across the top rope, blocking a head scissors attempt from Styles for a two count. Lynn works on Styles in the corner with several chops. Lynn with a springboard dropkick that sends Styles off the apron to the floor. Styles snaps Lynn throat first across the top rope to regain control of the match.
Lynn misses a guillotine leg drop but manages to leg sweep Styles off the apron to the floor. Lynn sends Styles face first into the ring steps. Styles leaps over the guard rail and hits Lynn with a super kick! Lynn comes back dropping Styles throat first across the guard rail as they traded right hands. Styles attempts a springboard off the guard rail but Lynn delivers a knee in midair.
Lynn works on Styles in the ring with several right hands that send Styles to the apron. Styles manages to throw Lynn through the middle rope to the floor where Mortimer Plumtree stomps on Lynn. Styles with a baseball slide dropkick that prevents Lynn from entering the ring. Styles slingshots over the top rope and lands on Lynn on the floor with a cross body. Styles covers Lynn in the ring but only gets a two count.
Lynn reverses a power bomb attempt with a Hurricanrana. Lynn attempts the cradle piledriver but Styles counters with a backdrop on Lynn. Styles with a clothesline goes for a pin-fall gets two. Styles with a dragon sleeper but lets go as Lynn refuses to give up. Styles attempts the Styles Clash, but Lynn avoids it. Styles manages to lock in a Boston Crab and drags Lynn to the center of the ring before letting go.
Styles with a couple of kicks but misses a third attempt. Lynn blocks a Hurricanrana with a sit out face buster. Lynn covers but Plumtree is distracting the referee. Styles with a low blow and a springboard reverse DDT goes for a pin-fall gets two. Lynn with a right hand out of the corner and follows up with a sit down power bomb. Both men are laying in the ring as the referee begins a 10 count.
Lynn with a backdrop off the ropes and several clotheslines. Lynn blocks a tornado DDT and hits a northern lights suplex into the corner goes for a pin-fall gets two! Lynn rams Styles into Plumtree and plants Styles with the cradle piledriver but only gets a two count! Sonny Siaki is making his way down the ramp. Lynn with a TKO and covers but Siaki pulls the referee out of the ring. Siaki heads to the back smiling at Lynn.
Plumtree has wedged a chair in the corner and Styles drives Lynn head first into the chair. Styles covers but only gets a two count. Styles hits Lynn with the Styles Clash, but Lynn manages to pop his shoulder up! Lynn crotches Styles on the top turnbuckle. Lynn with a superplex and gets a two count once again. Styles blocks a backslide with a version of a sit down dominator goes for a pin-fall gets two.
Styles attempts the Styles Clash but Lynn counters into a tombstone piledriver, which Styles counters into his own tombstone piledriver, but Lynn counters again and hits his own tombstone piledriver, Mortimer Plumtree is up on the apron, on the far side of the ring Plumtree thinks Styles has won the match and retained the NWA X-Division Championship. Lynn goes for a pin-fall gets the 1-2-3!
