NJPW STRONG Collision in Philadelphia rolls into its third week with the NJPW STRONG Synopsis for 6/25/22. As always, we will see the young lions of the LA Dojo mix it up with the stars of NJPW. This week brings us a night of singles action with a little taste of things to come in the G1 Climax tournament. But more than that, we will see “Mr. No Days Off” Fred Rosser challenge “Filthy” Tom Lawlor for the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship for the final time.
Here’s the NJPW STRONG Synopsis of what you can expect this Saturday night on NJPW World and FITE TV.

Fred Rosser vs Tom Lawlor (c)
– OPENWEIGHT Championship vs Career
Despite both matches being contenders for the NJPW STRONG match of the year, Rosser’s need to defeat Lawlor has only grown.
Over the past year, Fred Rosser has repeatedly demanded a championship match with Tom Lawlor, only to be shot down. The Filthy One racked up title defenses while placing obstacles in Rosser’s way. While Tom Lawlor was becoming the longest-reigning current champion in NJPW, Rosser was fighting for dignity in handicap matches or being forced to shave his own head.
Lawlor wants to carry the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship into the G1 Climax, but he wanted one last title defense before he did. He offered that shot to Fred Rosser, on one condition: If Rosser loses, he must retire. Will Tom Lawlor walk into G1 Climax with the belt in tow? Or will “Mr. No Days Off” suddenly find himself with Saturday nights off?
