With MLW Saturday Night Superfight, MLW’s first live Pay-Per-View on the horizon, the Court Bauer ran company is on a roll promoting the event. From his appearance on Talk Is Jericho, to some of the best content on YouTube with their Fusion episodes. The announcement of their Women’s division headlined by Zeda Zhang, to their newest star Austin Aries being highlighted in the New York Post, MLW is riding an all-time high. Today, they continue their rise.

Chris DeJoseph may be well known as a former writer of WWE, spent the past 4 years being the man in charge behind Lucha Underground. But with LU halting production, it left several people without work… except Chris as today, it was announced he would be taking on the Executive Producer position with Major League Wrestling.

The story, released by SI.com, today states the former “Big Dick Johnson” has officially signed on with the company with the position starting officially on the night of Superfight.

“Since the last season of Lucha Underground, I’ve had the itch to get back in the game. I’ve been watching what they’ve been doing and the steps they are taking to keep building, and I can’t wait to get my hands dirty with MLW… So much has sprouted from the alternative universe of Lucha Underground. The wrestling world is exploding right now, and I’m looking forward to riding that wave.”

What else will Court Bauer and the powers that be at MLW do next? Keep it locked here on Pro Wrestling Post for more!

    Caul’s Call

Big, big pickup here for Major League Wrestling. It may not be a herald get as of yet, but the change in presentation will be shown the moment Chris gets behind the boards. This man experience and mind for the wrestling business was prevalent in WWE and the thought process that went into Lucha Underground was even more impressive.

I fully expect a nice, clean look from MLW in the future with DeJoseph in the fold and Court continuing to look like the smartest man in the room.

Are you as hyped as we are here at Pro Wrestling Post for MLW Superfight? Well MLW whets your appetite with this special look at the headlined main event, ‘The Destroyer’ LA Park vs. ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ Jacob Fatu, titled “War Of The Monsters” below.
