#NEWS: Amazing Red Added To Big TNA Themed Show

Wrestlemania may be the biggest entertainment extravaganza of the year, but the shows that surround the big event are always must-see especially when they feature some of the independent’s top talent. For the Anthem-owned IMPACT Wrestling, they’ve decided to go nostalgic for their upcoming event resurrecting TNA for one night… including bringing back one of their founding fathers.

TNA: There’s No Place Like Home takes place during WrestleCon, the big convention-style event that is held during Wrestlemania weekend, on April 3rd airing on Fite TV. But as they continue to announce stars for the upcoming throwback night of sorts, they made a breaking announcement a short time ago.

At 12pm EST, IMPACT announced Amazing Red will be taking part in the event! A former 3 time X Division Champion and former TNA Tag Team Champion, the House Of Glory founder has had a career resurgence as of late performing in New Japan Pro-Wrestling Super J Cup in August of 2019.

One of the former men that donned the Suicide mask, Amazing Red joins an already star-studded list of TNA Alumni and wrestling legends already confirmed for this big night:

    • Scott Steiner
    • Chris Sabin
    • Aces & 8s (represented by Ken Anderson & D’Lo Brown)
    • Petey Williams
    • ‘Wildcat’ Chris Harris

It will be interesting to see who Red will be facing or what he may be involved in at the event taking place during wrestling’s biggest weekend. Tickets are on sale now as we will have full details and/or match card when they become available here on Pro Wrestling Post!

    Caul’s Call

During my love of wrestling, I was one of TNA’s biggest marks and I can say that with pride. Between the Ultimate X matches, Samoa Joe’s reign of terror, Main Event Mafia and even King of the Mountain, TNA had some epic moments in wrestling history. Amazing Red will just add to that.

Me and Ethan Page may be the most giddiest members of the Impact Nation (I just made that up) who are excited to see what and who may be announced next. My dream match? Ultimate X for Ace Austin’s title featuring Amazing Red… don’t care who else is in. Just give me that and I’ll be happy.

Amazing Red is one of TNA’s X Division legends for a reason. Back when Don West, former play by play man and ShopTNA.com merch pusher, was trying to help Red develop his “character”, he was his cornerman for this epic title match against the ruthless Homicide. Check out this match from TNA Turning Point 2009 that truly displays the greatness that is Amazing Red.
