Today, hip hop news publication The Hype Magazine broke the news that Kimber Lee has signed a deal with IMPACT! Wrestling. Shortly after, IMPACT Wrestling confirmed the report via Twitter. Neither party has come forward with details. However, we do know that this is a multi-year deal. In the interview Lee gave with The Hype Magazine, she also mentions that she is studying to be a veterinary technician.
Kimber Lee began her training in 2011 at the Combat Zone Wrestling Academy, becoming the first woman to graduate from the school. She debuted in October of 2011, defeating Austin Uzzie in an intergender match for CZW. In 2012, she joined Drew Gulak’s stable “A Campaign for A Better Combat Zone,” feuding with Greg Excellent. She wrestled with CZW until 2014, facing a who’s who of women in independent wrestling. From 2012-2016, she wrestled for Women Superstars Uncensored, Shimmer Women Athletes, Shine Wrestling, and Chikara. In 2015, Kimber Lee joined forces with Cherry Bomb (now Allie in AEW) to hold both the Shimmer and Shine tag team championships. 2015 was also the year she became the first and only woman to hold the Chikara Grand Championship.

Also that year, she participated in the Mae Young Classic, defeating Jazzy Gabert and Rachel Evers before losing to Mercedes Martinez in the quarterfinals. WWE released her from her contract in March of 2018.
