Before the night begins we see Roman Reigns, Shorty G, Mustafa Ali, King Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, and Robert Roode stand in front of the Friday Night Smackdown roster. They say that they are opening the door ready for a fight. Smackdown begins from the All-State Arena, from Chicago, Illinois. They announce that Daniel Bryan summons Bray Wyatt in a face to face address. The show begins with the Team Smackdown women’s team come to the ring with captain Sasha Banks leading the charge.
Banks gets on the microphone and says that this is their time and this is their show. She says that NXT wouldn’t dare show up since they’ve been dropped. Banks then challenges Team Raw to come out and face them, face to face. Sasha calls Charlotte captain Queeny and once she asks once again Charlotte’s music hits. Flair leads Asuka, Kairi Sane, Natayla and Sarah Logan. Charlotte stands on the apron and says why don’t we go one-on-one for old times’ sake. That is when NXT’s music hits. Rhea Ripley, Teagan Nox, Mia Yim, Toni Storm, and Candice LaRae. Ripley then picks up a microphone and says let’s make this captain-against-captain-against-captain. After moments of sharing verbal jabs, a brawl breaks out.
Sasha Banks vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair
After the break, all three captains square off against one another. Banks is taken out of the match leaving Charlotte and Ripley. Flair takes down Ripley with a big boot. Rhea recovers and drives Charlotte’s head into a turnbuckle. Banks recovers and hits a backstabber and a pinning attempt but only for a count of two. Once back up both Ripley and Banks take the fight to one another. Once on the floor, Ripley comes to the floor only to be distracted by the women’s division. Charlotte drives Banks into Nikki Cross and an argument breaks out at ringside. With both Banks and Ripley preoccupied with one another Charlotte hits a moonsault from the top rope.
After the break, Ripley and Banks continue their fight in the ring. Ripley eventually gains the advantage. She places Banks on the top turnbuckle. Sasha Banks fights back and hits Meteora from the top rope. Flair hits natural selection on Banks but Ripley breaks up the pinning attempt. Both Flair and Ripley continue the fight against one another. Banks attempted the backstabber but Flair locks in the figure-eight. Ripley comes in and locks up a pinning attempt on Charlotte while Banks is locked into a submission attempt. 1…2….3. Ripley wins!
Winner: Rhea Ripley
After the bell, Flair, and Banks go at it with both Smackdown and Raw going at it. Smackdown holds control temporary but Raw go back into the ring. While this takes place, NXT is on the stage watching them beat each other senseless. Flair looks bloodied unsure where that may have happened.
In the backstage area, Sami Zayn interrupts Corbin, Roode and Ziggler’s chat. Corbin calls Zayn annoying and Sami dares King Corbin to say it to his face in the ring. Zayn’s music hits and he goes out followed by the Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.
Backstage Kayla Braxton interviews Bayley asking her about her upcoming match this Sunday. She asks her if she’s prepared. Bayley says that if Baszler is going to show up be aware because she is ready. Back in the ring, Zayn begins to address King Corbin. He says that everyone is afraid of Nakamura and that Zayn isn’t annoying either. Sami holds a bag with him in the ring. Sami refers to both himself and Shinsuke Nakamura as ‘studs’. Zayn has a gift for him and presents him with a new BEAUTIFUL Intercontinental Championship. Sami says that he doesn’t know that other guy in their match referring to Roderick Strong.
The Undisputed Era’s music hits and the entire faction come out. Nakamura is pulled away by Sami Zayn. Cole picks up the microphone and reminds Sami Zayn of who Roderick Strong is along with the rest of the faction. That he says is undisputed….but then New Day interrupts and come out. Kingston and Big E come out at ringside and challenge Undisputed Era. New Day are backed up by Heavy Machinery in an eight-man tag matchup.
Undisputed Era vs New Day and Heavy Machinery
Once back from commercial Big E is cornered by UE. However, Big E eventually fights them off. Big E hits his splash on the ring apron frame. Kingston is tagged in and exchanges blows with Kofi Kingston. Strong tags in and takes the fight to Kofi Kingston from behind. Once in their corner both O’Reilly and Fish beatdown Kingston. Fish then begins to methodically work on Kingston. Adam Cole comes back in the ring and continues to work on Kofi Kingston. Strong then comes in and stretches the spine of Kofi Kingston. Kofi fights back and rolls up Kingston.
O’Reilly methodically works on the lower back of Kingston. Strong then tags himself back into the ring. Roderick locks in the arm and leg of Kingston. He then whips him into the corner turnbuckle but Strong catches him at the top rope. Then Kingston falls on Tucker after being dropkicked by Strong. Big E and Otis argue over Kingston landing on Tucker.
Back in the ring after another commercial break and Kingston is still being worked on by Bobby Fish.
Fish knocks Big E off the ring apron. Kingston hits a dropkick. He then makes his way to his side of the ring and tags in Otis. Otis cleans house knocking out the entire Undisputed Era. O’Reilly attempts several strikes but Otis can fight them off. Otis sets up for the caterpillar but Fish pulled Cole out of the ring. Otis whips O’Reilly into Tucker who immediately hits a side slam. Strong is tagged in but he is tossed by Tucker. Tucker hits a side slam on Roderick Strong. Tucker hits a moonsault but the rest of the Undisputed Era come in as does Heavy Machinery. Both Kingston and Big E are hit with the high/low. Otis hits the caterpillar. However, Strong hits a high knee strike on Tucker ending in a pin and win for the Undisputed Era.

After the match, Strong makes his way to the top of the rampway and out of nowhere AJ Styles flies in and decks both Nakamura and Strong. Sami Zayn takes a chair to both Styles and Strong. Cole, O’Reilly, and Fish up the stage to thwart the attack scaring off Nakamura and Zayn.
Styles is on the microphone after the break saying he is the best thing going on in Chicago today. To which ‘CM Punk’ chants chime in. Styles says he would mop the floor with him. AJ says that both Nakamura and Strong may be fine on either Smackdown or NXT but he is Phenomenal. To which, Daniel Bryan’s music hits and he comes out to the ring. Bryan has a microphone in hand and fans begin to chant ‘Daniel Bryan’ and came to the ring to answer why fans reason for why he wants to summon Bray Wyatt. Bryan says that he would challenge Wyatt if it was for the Universal Championship. It reminds us of the YES! chants. He didn’t come to lecture and chant YES.
As Bryan continues to challenge Wyatt, the lights go out. When they come back on, there is still Bryan speaking. To which The Miz came out and says he had Bryan was weak and hopes The Fiend tears him apart. He said he thought he was going to help him by showing him his futility. Miz then slaps Bryan and we go to commercial.
The Miz vs Daniel Bryan
Miz’s slap led to this impromptu matchup. Bryan takes the fight to The Miz. Cole reminds us of the longstanding issues between them. The Miz gains the advantage by laying in kicks on the wounded Daniel Bryan. Miz circles Bryan and makes a pinning attempt but only for a count of two. The Miz locks in a side headlock and eventually is back to his feet. Bryan regains control with a thrust kick on The Miz. He then hits a dropkick on The Miz. The Miz then blocks an attempted LaBelle Lock.
Bryan hits a running clothesline on The Miz. He then climbs to the top turnbuckle but is stopped by The Miz. The Miz then attempts a superplex but Bryan blocks twice. Bryan then hits a headbutt but then hits a dropkick. Daniel then hits a series of YES kicks combined with a finishing kick. Daniel Bryan teases that he does and then raises his hands in a YES chant.
Winner: No Contest
The lights go out and when they come back on The Fiend remains in the place where The Miz was. The Fiend locks in the mandible claw on Daniel Bryan until Bryan is unconscious.
After the commercial break, Shayna Baszler’s music hits and she comes down to the ring. Baszler comes out saying to Bayley that she isn’t coming from behind but rather standing in the middle of the ring. Bayley comes from behind and attacks Baszler. Bayley then tries to retreat but Baszler locks in the Kirifuda clutch but breaks free leaving Baszler laying. Baszler raises her head and menacingly looks up at Bayley scaring her off.
Mustafa Ali, Shorty G, and Roman Reigns vs King Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, and Robert Roode
After the break, Ali, Shorty G, Reigns, Corbin, Ziggler, and Roode are all set to square off against one another. Corbin is carried to the ring and calls himself the captain. Reigns looks on annoyed at Corbin. Roman Reigns immediately wipes out the entire opposition. However, Ziggler hits him from behind and the entire trio takes their shots at Reigns. Shorty G is tagged in and then after momentarily getting the advantage Roode and Corbin tossed him onto the top of the announce table.
Shorty G is recovering and Reigns and Ali are a team member short. Reigns is being set up for a superkick by Ziggler but he stops him with a Superman punch. Ali is pumped to get back into the match but then Ali and Corbin are in the matchup. Mustafa Ali goes at Corbin. He blocks Ziggler’s superkick attempt. On the other side of the ring, Corbin is stopped by Ali. Ali sets him up for the 450-splash. Once on the top rope, Roode blocks Ali. He then hits a spinebuster on Shorty G on the floor. Ziggler then catches Roman Reigns with a superkick. Corbin hits a deep six on a distracted Ali for a pin and the win. Corbin, Ziggler, and Roode finish off Shorty G, Reigns and Ali.

After the match, Reigns spears Corbin but then Seth Rollins’ music hit who led the Raw charge down through the stands. Reigns is alone in the ring. Rollins tells the rest of the team to hold off in the stands. Reigns and Rollins go face-to-face with one another and start throwing fists. Smackdown seems outmanned and Braun Strowman leads the charge to the ring and begin to take the fight to Raw. With both teams going at it, NXT chants break out. Just then a jeep and cannon lead by
Triple H come to the ring and leads this charge in a massive brawl with all the talent going at it. In the ring, out of the ring and likely in the stands everyone is taking the fight to one another. Keith Lee stands alone in the ring and he spirit bombs Montez Ford. This is when Braun Strowman and Keith Lee go face to face ready to charge one another. They step closer to one another staring down at one another beating each other until they go off the air.
