We are coming up on the next DEFY show! This one is taking place at the Hawthorne Theater in Portland Oregon. DEFY has gone on the road before having been to Tacoma, Spokane, and Missoula. They are returning to Portland, leaving their home base in Seattle for the month of November. DEFY Wrestling presents PDX III: City of Thorns.
Announcements have been trickling in this last week, and thus far we have four fantastic match announcements. First off, we’ll see Matt Cross go up against King Khash for the second time. These two faced off at the very first DEFY show. There is bad blood between these two and this will undoubtedly be an epic match!
LAX, the Impact tag champions, are coming to add more belts to their already impressive collection. They face DEFY Tag Team Champions the Amerikan Gunz. This will be the Gunz’ second title defense since winning their belts last September. This should be a nail-biting match! The Amerikan Gunz never fails to use any means necessary to win, and LAX is going to be fierce opponents who could walk away with a new set of belts.
DEFY Wrestling Presents PDX III: City of Thorns
We know crowd favorite Tommy Dreamer will be making an appearance to take on the Devil Drexll. These two are known to be brutal competitors and there’s no telling bloody this one is going to get. I hope the medics are close by for this one!
We aren’t certain which match will be the main event but one of the likely candidates is a challenge for the DEFY Championship. On November 24, it will be Shane Strickland defending his title against the “Ravenous One” Randy Myers! Will there be a house divided? Both wrestlers are favorites of the DEFY crowd.
The DEFY PDX III: City of Thorns is shaping up to be an evening of some of the best wrestling the industry has to offer. Stay tuned, there have only been four matches announced. No doubt there is more to come!
