Welcome friends to another rip-roaring week of Brace for IMPACT for 6/24/21! Last week, we saw a major shift in the landscape of IMPACT Wrestling. First, Steve Maclin made his IMPACT Wrestling debut. Then, Tommy Dreamer, on behalf of Anthem Sports, fired Don Callis and reinstated Sami Callihan.

Now that he’s back in the company, will Sami Callihan earn a title match against Kenny Omega? We’ll find out more on Thursday night’s brand-new episode of IMPACT! on AXS TV.

Thursday’s IMPACT Wrestling starts with Rohit Raju & Mahabali Shera, The Desi Hit Squad, taking on Petey Williams and Trey Miguel. This comes after Rohit Raju and Ace Austin made a pact to help clear each other’s path to the X-Division Championship. Petey Williams and Trey Miguel are some of the biggest names in the division right now. If Raju could take both men out of title contention, that would leave only himself and Austin to compete for #1 Contendership.

Last week, Raju claimed he had an ace up his sleeve, and that ace might be Mahabali Shera. While Petey Williams and Trey Miguel are an impromptu tag team, Raju and Shera have history and chemistry on their side. Will that be enough for The Desi Hit Squad to secure a victory?

    Kiera Hogan vs. Rosemary

In a backstage segment last week, Knockouts Tag Team Champions Fire ‘n’ Flava were bothering the staff at Skyway Studios. Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz approached several cleaning staff to ask them who they thought was the best Knockouts Tag Team. Skyway Studios staff behaved very awkwardly, in many cases just not answering. As Steelz and Hogan harassed the workers, Rosemary slid into frame. Rosemary dismissed the janitor before doing her best to creep out Fire ‘n’ Flava. Hogan and Steelz turned to bother some of the other staff when Havok creeped up. The giant of the knockouts division slammed Tasha Steelz into a wall before throwing Kiera Hogan into a garbage bin.

This Thursday, Kiera Hogan has the opportunity for revenge when she faces Rosemary in singles action. But what of Rosemary’s pairing with Havok? Can these once bitter rivals coexist in the Knockouts Tag Team Division?

    Deonna Purrazzo vs Susan

As of late, things have not been going to plan for Deonna Purrazzo and her posse. The Knockouts Champion assembled the duo of Kimber Lee and Susan to serve as her henchwomen. When a credible challenger stood up to The Virtuosa, Kimber Lee and Susan would make their presence felt. However, when asked to deal with potential contenders on their own, Susan and Lee lose repeatedly.

Last week, Purrazzo berated Kimber Lee and Susan for their losses before storming off. This week, Susan intends to make Deonna Purrazzo pay for her words when they face off in singles action. But can we expect the return of Su Yung?

When Satoshi Kojima debuted on May 27th, he made it clear that he wanted to tangle with Eric Young and Violent By Design. At Against All Odds, he lost to VBD’s Joe Doering in their 39th match together. Last week, Satoshi Kojima defeated Rhino in a long-awaited singles match. However, since Rhino holds one-half of the tag team championship, Kojima earned a title match.

For his partner, Kojima selected Eddie Edwards, a man who has become a critical component of the war against VBD himself. Edwards has made several attempts to topple Eric Young’s house of madness but came up short each time. Will the new partner and the championship incentive push Edwards to finally overthrow Violent by design?
