With Honor No More running amok and BULLET CLUB horning in on their territory, it’s been a crazy time for IMPACT Wrestling in the past few weeks as we preview Brace for IMPACT for 2/17/22. However, some of the chaos will be cleared on Saturday night. The stars of IMPACT Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and Ring of Honor will come together on Saturday for No Surrender.
The IMPACT Plus exclusive supercard features “Switchblade” Jay White against Eric Young, Guerillas of Destiny against The Good Brothers for the IMPACT Tag Team Championship, and Honor No More vs. Team IMPACT in a 10-man hardcore war. But before we can see the epic matchups on the No Surrender card, we have one last show. Here’s what you can expect from the No Surrender go-home show this Thursday night at 8 pm on AXS TV.

Ace Austin vs. Blake Christian vs. Laredo Kid
X-Division Champion Trey Miguel has had it pretty easy since breaking Steve Maclin’s undefeated streak at Hard to Kill. Since then, he’s only wrestled twice, toppling foes in MEGA and DEFY wrestling. With an IMPACT Plus special upcoming, he’s bound to be on the card. However, few wrestlers have presented themselves as a challenger in his absence. It seems that Jonathan Gresham’s ROH World Championship is the shiny new toy in the playground.
The thing about world championships, though, is that you need to impress before you can compete for them. That’s what we’ll see this Thursday night when Ace Austin meets Laredo Kid and the returning Blake Christian in a triple threat match. Austin and Christian likely still have bad blood after their encounter in the finals of last year’s Super X Cup. Christian left IMPACT! Wrestling shortly thereafter, only returning two weeks ago in a losing effort against Laredo Kid.

Gisele Shaw vs. Lady Frost
After weeks of vignettes hyping the arrival of “The Quintessential Diva,” Gisele Shaw finally made her debut appearance on last week’s Before The IMPACT. After Lady Frost defeated Alisha Edwards, Gisele Shaw made her first appearance in the IMPACT Zone. Frost seemed perturbed that Shaw decided to rain on her celebration.
Later on, on IMPACT! Wrestling proper, Gisele Shaw insulted Gia Miller and insisted that if Lady Frost had an issue, she could take it up the following week. Well, Thursday night is coming up, and Lady Frost will be facing Gisele Shaw in Shaw’s debut match! Despite both working the indie scene for the past few years, this will be their first time facing each other. Catch this fresh, exciting matchup this Thursday on AXS TV.

Kenny King vs. Chris Sabin
On February 3rd, Josh Alexander faced off against Honor No More member Vincent in singles action. After The Walking Weapon put away Vincent, the other members of Honor No More positioned themselves on each side of the ring, preventing Alexander from leaving. Alexander’s IMPACT teammates then flooded out from the back, brawling with Matt Taven, PCO, Mike Bennett, and Vincent.
This left Josh Alexander alone in the ring with nobody to fight off himself. That is until Kenny King spun him around and planted him with a Royal Flush. The last time Kenny King was part of IMPACT Wrestling was in 2015, leaving shortly after the dissolution of MVP’s Beat Down Clan. He returns to in-ring action this Thursday night, facing old X-Division rival Chris Sabin.
The last time the two met in an IMPACT Wrestling ring was at a house show in Knoxville, where King teamed with Manik to pick up a victory over Sabin and Zema Ion. Kenny King will be eager to get his win back when he faces Chris Sabin for the first time in 3 years this Thursday night on IMPACT! Wrestling.

Mickie James & Chelsea Green vs. Tasha Steelz & Savannah Evans
Last week on IMPACT, Mickie James honored Chelsea Green’s request to face off in a non-title match. The Knockouts Champion and her protégé had just set the rhythm of the match when Savannah Evans and #1 Contender Tasha Steelz came to the ring. Steelz threw a garbage can into the ring, signaling her feelings about the competitors before Evans yanked Chelsea Green’s knee from under her, sending her crashing to the mat.
The referee saw this outside aggression and dutifully threw the match out. James and Green were absolutely furious that the #1 Contender ruined their friendly match and decided to band together to face off against Steelz and Evans. This match means quite a lot, as it will give one side the ever-important momentum heading into the Knockouts Championship match this Saturday night at No Surrender.

BULLET CLUB (w/Chris Bey) vs. Violent By Design
When AEW President Tony Khan appeared on IMPACT! Wrestling last year proclaiming “The Forbidden Door” was open, I don’t think anyone had something this big in mind. But as the days and weeks and months went by, it only seemed like a matter of time until BULLET CLUB made their way to IMPACT. Jay White picked an emissary in Chris Bey, then sent El Phantasmo and Hikuleo to back him up.
But it wasn’t enough. Now, Jay White and Guerrillas of Destiny are here in IMPACT! Wrestling and they’re intent on making it their personal playground. But back when Jay White debuted in IMPACT, he put former BULLET CLUB members and current tag team champions The Good Brothers on notice. Now he’s come back to make good on his word. However, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson had a backup plan.
Their recent alliance with Violent By Design has taken much of the weight of being champion off their shoulders. This week, Jay White and BULLET CLUB earn their matches on the No Surrender card in 6-man tag action against Violent By Design.
What Else To Expect:
- Masha Slamovich in action!
- Moose and W. Morrissey’s last words before they collide!
- Honor No More look to raise hell for one last time
