This week on IMPACT Wrestling, we continue the build to Bound for Glory. Last week, Rich Swann returned from his premature retirement and challenged Eric Young. Those two will meet in the main event of Bound For Glory for the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship. Meanwhile, Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo and #1 contender Kylie Rae continue their war. We still don’t know who will challenge for the X Division or Tag Team Championships. However, we’re still bound to see exciting action from both divisions. Whatever happens Tuesday night will set the stage for Bound for Glory on October 24th. This is your Brace for IMPACT for 09/22/20

    Sami Callihan vs RVD

Sami Callihan started his feud with RVD back in July, when he outed himself as Katie Forbes’s blackmailer. Forbes and RVD did their best to control the situation, but Callihan kept pushing. Callihan and Van Dam met in the ring on September 1st, with Callihan eking out a win by reversing Van Dam’s pin. After the match, Sami loomed over Katie Forbes threateningly, unaware of an incoming RVD clothesline. Forbes and RVD then laid a beating into Sami Callihan, with Forbes setting up the chair for the Van Terminator. This week, Sami and RVD meet again, but this time if RVD wins, Katie Forbes gets 5 minutes to let out her frustrations on Sami. Will RVD secure Katie’s honor or is Sami’s hunger for revenge enough to drive him to another surprise victory?

    Jordynne Grace vs Tenille (w/Kaleb)

When Tenille Dashwood returned to IMPACT Wrestling after months of hiatus, she immediately put Deonna Purrazzo on notice. As the woman Purrazzo defeated for the title, Jordynne Grace did not appreciate this. Grace wanted to make it clear that Tenille would have to wait in line for her title shot like everyone else. However, when she went to tell this to Tenille, she was met by her photographer, Kaleb. He informed Grave that she would have to wait a week to get her hands on Tenille. Jordynne Grace has had enough of this kind of behavior. Will Grace beat some respect into Dashwood, or has the time off done more good than bad for Dashwood?

Kimber Lee (w/Deonna Purrazzo) vs Susie (w/Kylie Rae)

While #1 Contender Kylie Rae was away at Wrestle House, Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo has been carving out her territory. A few weeks ago, she made an arrangement with Kimber Lee to keep Kylie out of the title picture. However, with best friend Susie at her side, Kylie Rae has been able to keep The Virtuosa’s henchwoman at bay. Last week both duos met in a tag team match, where Susie pinned Lee. However, Susie did so after hitting the Panic Switch, the finishing move of her alter destructive alter ego, Su Yung. This week, Kimber Lee is out to get her heat back, but how much will Purazzo and Kylie Rae influence the match? And will we see more elements of Su Yung come out in Susie?

Trey vs TJP vs Chris Bey

On the first night of Emergence, Rohit Raju double-crossed Chris Bey to win the X-Division Championship. Bey had drafted the Desi Hit Man into his match with TJP as an insurance policy against Fallah Baah. Two weeks ago, TJP defeated Chris Bey in singles competition, pushing him down the list of contenders. Meanwhile, Trey Miguel has been out to establish himself as a singles star in IMPACT Wrestling. He earned himself a shot at the IMPACT World Championship at Slammiversary but came up short in the 5-way elimination match. He was the first man to answer Eddie Edwards’s open challenge, coming out on the losing end.

Then he managed to convince Moose to give him a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship but lost. He’s a hungry, driven competitor, but he just can’t seem to win the big matches. This week, he has the opportunity to earn a shot at another title, and prove he’s not all hype. These three competitors will clash on Tuesday night for the chance to challenge for the X-Division championship at Bound For Glory.
