IMPACT! Wrestling’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view gave us quite a lot to talk about. Firstly, there are four new champions in the company. First, The North defeated The Motor City Machine Guns, The Good Brothers, and Ace Austin & Madman Fulton to reclaim the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship. Could this be the beginning of another epic reign? Then Su Yung returned to challenge Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship in place of Kylie Rae. The Undead Bride walked away with the title, which can only mean a reign of terror in the Knockouts Division. Finally, in the main event,…
IMPACT! Wrestling returns to pay per view on Saturday night with IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory! The company has been on fire since the events of Slammiversary. Returning icons like Eric Young, EC3, MCMG, and The Good Brothers have turned a once lagging promotion into a powerhouse. On Saturday night, all the threads from Slammiversary come to a head as EC3 faces off against Moose, Kylie Rae faces Deonna Purrazzo, and Rich Swann challenges Eric Young. Along with the massive four-way match for the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship and the Six-Way Scramble for the X-Divison title, Bound For Glory…
This week on IMPACT! Wrestling, we reach the final stop on the road to Bound For Glory. What a journey this has been. Rohit Raju weaseled his way to the X-Division Championship, then retained with a roll-up against Trey. Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo has conspired with Kimber Lee to put #1 contender Kylie Rae out of action. The tag team division has been on fire with the likes of The Good Brothers, The North, The Rascals, and Ace Austin & Madman Fulton jockeying for #1 Contendership. IMPACT World Champion Eric Young has been attacking Rich Swann, his challenger at Bound…
Last week’s episode of IMPACT! Wrestling was full of twists and turns. “The Most Professional Wrestler” Brian Myers abandoned all sense of professionalism and assaulted Tommy Dreamer. Then, Jordynne Grace answered and conquered the “Beat Rohit” Challenge, only for Rohit Raju to declare it was a non-title challenge. Jimmy Jacobs and DR. Forman announced that Swann is cleared to compete at Bound for Glory. However, Eric Young was lurking in the background, assaulting Swann’s injured knee from out of nowhere. This is Brace for IMPACT for 10/13/20. And finally, The North interrupted the main event match of MCMG vs Ace…
In the past few years, Game Changer Wrestling’s Bloodsport has become one of the non-WWE highlights of WrestleMania weekend. Originally conceived and named by Matt Riddle, the show focuses on striking and mat wrestling. The ring for this event features no ropes or turnbuckles. Wins are decided by submission or knockout only. These stipulations give the matches more of an MMA feel. Combine that with the interesting matchups like WALTER vs Tom Lawlor or Matt Riddle vs Minoru Suzuki and you’ve got a recipe for a barn burner. This is GCW Presents Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 3. Technically the fourth Barnett’s…
With Victory Road in our rearview, we are now well on our way to Bound for Glory. At the end of the show Rohit Raju, Deonna Purrazzo, and Eric Young stood tall as champions. Meanwhile, Brian Myers has a victory over Tommy Dreamer, and Heath & Rhino scored a win over Reno Scum. With the landscape solidified, we now have a roadmap towards Bound for Glory. But anything can happen in pro wrestling, and we may witness a few more shifts before October 24th. This is what you can expect from IMPACT! Wrestling, Tuesday at 8 pm EST on AXS…

This week on IMPACT Wrestling, we continue the build to Bound for Glory. Last week, Rich Swann returned from his premature retirement and challenged Eric Young. Those two will meet in the main event of Bound For Glory for the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship. Meanwhile, Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo and #1 contender Kylie Rae continue their war. We still don’t know who will challenge for the X Division or Tag Team Championships. However, we’re still bound to see exciting action from both divisions. Whatever happens Tuesday night will set the stage for Bound for Glory on October 24th. This is…
On Tuesday, September 15th, veteran wrestler Gerald “Jerry” Brown visited his daughter. Hours later, his son found him dead in the trailer where he lived. Brown’s former tag team partner, Ron McFarlane, broke the news on Facebook later that day. In a phone interview with Slam Wrestling, McFarlane divulged that Brown’s health had been declining. Six months prior, doctors told Brown that his heart was failing and there was nothing more they could do. Jerry Brown debuted in the late 1960s, working mostly in Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. He started teaming with “Dandy” Jack Donovan in 1969, but that pairing…
