During the recent Ring of Honor, Death Before Dishonour pay-per-view saw new champions crowned and an eventful evening overall. For one particular ring of Honor talent, they weren’t as fortunate. Prior to the event, Bandido was removed from the scheduled event with what is believed to be a knee injury. On Thursday, September 26th, Bandido faced Mark Briscoe in a one-on-one competition. This event only appears to increase with its number of men and women that want to be part of the show. At this past Friday’s AAW Wrestling event Defining Moment, the Walking Weapon Josh Alexander won the promotion’s AAW Heavyweight championship. Alexander defeated The Draw, Sami Callihan to capture the championship. The win ended Callihan’s 273-day reign as champion. In a match that was a back and forth affair saw Callihan gain the early advantage. After hitting a powerbomb on Alexander, the walking weapon immediately got back up. In a recent report by Raj Giri of WrestlingInc.com, is reporting that to the best of their knowledge former WWE Raw and Smackdown Live tag team champions The Usos will be making a return on Fox. The former champions haven’t been seen on-screen since July. Their absence may or may not have been tied to Jimmy Uso’s reported arrest for a DUI in Pensacola, Florida. In shocking news Mexican promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) has officially announced the releases of talents Rush, his brother Dragon Lee and their father La Bestia Del Ring. The move comes on the same night Rush captured the Ring of Honor World Championship at ROH’s recent Death Before Dishonor event. At last night’s Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor pay per view event, Rush defeated Matt Taven to capture the ROH World Title. The match itself provided fans watching an exciting combination of strikes. Coming into the match, Taven had received some criticism from the online wrestling community for how deserving he was to hold the championship. According to reports from PWInsider.com’s Mike Johnson, the voice of the voiceless could be making a return to the WWE. In a coincidental fashion not by using his fists but rather his voice. Former WWE champion CM Punk was said to have been in Los Angeles earlier this week at the Fox Studios. The reason for his visit was that he was said to be auditioning for the Studio’s new “WWE Backstage” program on their Fox Sports 1 station.
