Here’s what’s in store for this week’s episode of AEW Rampage for 9/17/21. First, we have the AEW World Tag Team Championship titles on the line as The Lucha Bros go head to head with The Butcher & The Blade. We will also see Miro take on the persistent Fuego Del Sol for the TNT Championship. Fuego Del Sol keeps showing up and has a lot to prove here in AEW.

We will also see the continuing feud between the Hardy Family Office members and the Dark Order as The Bunny takes on Anna Jay. This rivalry has been going on for a little bit now. Will we see it finally come to an end this week? Will we see either of the championships change hands this week? Let’s dig deeper into the upcoming matches for this week.

The Lucha Bros (Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix) vs. The Butcher & The Blade

We will see the recently crowned tag team champions, the Lucha Bros, take on The Butcher & The Blade this week. It will be interesting to see how this match pans out as currently, according to the rankings, both teams are currently undefeated with pretty impressive streaks at this time. This is the Lucha Bros’ first title reign, and we know they don’t want it to end so quickly. Will they be able to defend successfully and ward off The Butcher & The Blade.

The Butcher & The Blade have not held the titles yet, so we know they will be coming for the gold. Both teams have their own advantages; the Lucha Bros are agile and risk-takers, and Butcher & The Blade definitely have strength in their corner. Will, the Lucha Bros, be able to retain their tag titles and keep this reign rolling on, or will The Butcher & The Blade put a quick stop to the Lucha Bros’ first reign.

    – Miro (c) vs. Fuego Del Sol

We had seen Miro vs. Fuego Del Sol before on Rampage when Fuego Del Sol was fighting for a chance to win a contract to officially be signed to AEW. We did see him come up short that time, but we saw him still get awarded a contract after all due to his perseverance. Miro has had quite a few successful title defenses so far. He has shown that he is a force to be reckoned with time and time again.

Miro is also one of the top-ranked Men in AEW currently. Fuego Del Sol has shown that he will not give up, though, and he has also had some impressive matches this year. Will Fuego be able to pull over a massive victory on Miro this week and become the new TNT Champion and score his first title in the company? On the other hand, will Miro take another win over Fuego and retain his title yet again?

    Anna Jay vs. The Bunny

The Bunny is still not done feuding with the ladies of the Dark Order. We have seen her have a couple of altercations with Tay Conti. This week we will see her take on Tay’s best friend, Anna Jay. Anna Jay has not had a whole lot of action since returning to AEW. However, the Bunny has been accumulating a streak of wins lately. Anna Jay has been undefeated in her couple of matches, though.

Will we see this feud come to an end after this match? Can Anna Jay pick up the victory with Tay by her side, or will The Bunny pull off another victory? It should definitely be a good match as The Bunny has certainly been showing off her skills in the ring this year more than before. With Anna Jay being out of action for a bit, she sure could use a victory to get her back up the ranks in the Women’s Division.

    What to Expect

    • Will, the Lucha Bros, be able to maintain their title run, or will it get cut short tomorrow night?

    • Can Fuego Del Sol get his first taste of gold within AEW?

    • Will we see some of the new talent make a splash this week?
