As we gear up for the third installment of All Elite Wrestling Rampage, it is sure to be another awesome week as we preview AEW Rampage for 8/27/21! The first two episodes have been nothing short of action-packed. AEW sure does have the fans’ attention with this latest show. On the first episode, we saw the IMPACT World Championship change hands as Christian Cage put an end to Kenny Omega’s run taking away one of Kenny’s multiple titles. Next, we saw Fuego Del Sol become an official part of the All Elite roster after his valiant effort against Miro. Finally, we saw Dr. Britt Baker, DMD, successfully defend her title in her hometown of Pittsburgh!

During the second episode, we saw the return of CM Punk to wrestling after many years away from the business, following months of rumors that the legend would be coming to AEW, which drew over a million viewers last week. In tag team action, we saw Jurassic Express take on Private Party in a tag team eliminator match and elevate themselves in the tag team division. Next, we saw “The Forbidden Door” open when Kiera Hogan from IMPACT Wrestling unsuccessfully challenged Jade Cargill. In the main event, we saw Daniel Garcia take on veteran Jon Moxley, and while Garcia didn’t win, he did put up a good fight. We know one thing is for certain this week: we have a full card of matches ready for Friday evening.

    The Bunny vs. Tay Conti

It was announced on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite that  Bunny would take on Tay Conti. With the ongoing feud between The Hardy Family Office and the Dark Order, this will definitely be an interesting match in this rivalry. Tay Conti has a very impressive winning streak as far as the Women’s Division goes as she is in the top 5 of the division; this could prove to be a challenge for Bunny.

The Bunny has not had too many matches this year so far, so it will be a nice chance to see her get to display her in-ring abilities and take it to Tay Conti. There is no doubt that Blade, Matt Hardy, or The Dark Order could get themselves involved from ringside as well, causing some chaos and interference. Will Bunny pull a fast one and take the win, or will Tay continue her impressive winning streak?

    Jurassic Express vs. Lucha Bros

As we see, weekly AEW has a very stacked tag team division. Announced this past Wednesday, Jurassic Express will face the Lucha Bros. These are two very talented tag teams, so it is sure to be a must-see match. These teams are ranked high in the AEW Tag Team Division for the Young Buck’s World Tag Team Titles. This match will definitely be a road to the titles for either of these two teams.

Jurassic Express has definitely been on fire and are certainly strong contenders for the titles. The Lucha Bros, however, are veterans and could definitely take this win. It definitely will be a pretty evenly matched competition as currently, Jurassic Express is 10-2 with their streak, where Lucha Bros are currently 8-0 in their streak, can the Lucha Bros keep that streak undefeated and climb above Jurassic Express in the rankings? Let’s see Friday!

Christian Cage & Frankie Kazarian vs. Kenny Omega & Brandon Cutler

Scheduled for the main event of this week’s Rampage is Christian Cage, the current IMPACT World Champion, and Frankie Kazarian facing AEW Champion and AAA Mega Champion Kenny Omega and Brandon Cutler. This will definitely be a must-see match. As we saw on the debut episode of Rampage, Christian Cage defeated Kenny Omega to take away one of his many titles. One can imagine there is definitely some bad blood still brewing. However, we did see Frankie Kazarian come to the aid of Christian Cage recently. This was after being assaulted by Omega and his buddies.

Cage has made it clear he wants to come for Omega’s AEW World Title next. The outcome of this match could be a preview of what is to come. This match definitely contains a whole lot of talent. Wednesday night, Omega taunted Christian Cage saying, “You think you know me, you think you know me?” We shall see how well they know each other when they face off yet again with their tag team partners this time around. Will Cage and Kazarian have Omega and Cutler’s number, or will Omega and Cutler come out on top? Tune into All Elite Wrestling Rampage on TNT!

    What to expect:

    • Is Christian Cage going to be the next person to hold both the IMPACT Championship & AEW World Championship
    • Will Tay Conti finally get a shot at Dr. Britt Baker’s AEW Women’s Championship (if she gets past The Bunny)?
    • What will CM Punk say next as he addresses the AEW faithful?
