Two matches are set to take place on the upcoming edition of AEW Rampage for 11/4/22. On top of these two matches being announced, there will be the appearance of a legendary boxing champion on commentary, and the AEW World Title Eliminator names would continue to be announced.

With AEW Full Gear only weeks away, two matches have been announced, so many more are still to be announced. So which match or moment are you most looking forward to on this week’s episode of AEW Rampage? Here is our preview below to find out more.

Katsuyori Shibata vs. Orange Cassidy (c)

After defending his All-Atlantic title in a triple-threat match, Orange Cassidy was met with a new challenger after suffering a beatdown at the hands of PAC. Not since his appearance at Forbidden Door had this New Japan Pro Wrestling legend appeared. Katsuyori Shibata came out to stop the beatdown at the hands of PAC and challenge for the AEW All-Atlantic Championship.

Cassidy and Shibaaren’tn’t strangers to one another as the two came face to face with one another at Forbidden Door. While that moment was more about the fun between two men than anything else, who knew it would be laying down the foundation of what was to come?

A match between arguably one of NJPW’s former champions should have had more promoting around it than simply being signed and announced a couple of days prior. Shibata appearing in a show that airs so late. While it isn’t so much an issue, casual fans’ awareness of him likely needed more than this appearance to help others know about him.

    Mike Tyson returns

Over the past couple of weeks, it was announced that the return of former Boxing Champion of the Worl’Iron’on’ Mike Tyson. Tyson is set to be a guest commentator on this week’s edition of AEW Rampage. This would be the first appearance of ‘Iron’ Mike since he came face to face with then AEW Champion, Chris Jericho.

What does he have in store for fans in his return to AEW?

More Names for the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament

It was recently announced that Ethan Page will be a part of the tournament, but the question is, who else could be announced as a part of the tournament? Some could argue the likes of Darby Allin, Jungle Boy, Sammy Guevara, & Orange Cassidy could be named to be a part of the tournament.

This could also bring about the names of Miro and Malakai Black being a part of the tournament as well.

Dr. Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter vs. Madison Rayne & Skye Blue

In a backstage interview with Tony Schivone, Jamie Hayter, and Dr. Britt Baker, we hear of tDoctor’sr’s frustration. She said that wouldn’t be interviewed by Renee Paquette with Saraya. Britt wanted to be interviewed by HER people and in HER environment. It was as though Saraya thought she had the answer, and Britt went ahead and changed the question.

On AEW Dynamite, fans saw that Britt and Jamie would be teaming up to face off against what appears to be that of a teacher and a student in Madison Rayne and Skye BluRayne’se’s time in AEW has been less than memorable. It appears as though she’s there to help elevate others while being an established name coming into the promotion.

We also learned this past week that Jamie Hayter has officially been announced to be ToStorm’sm’s challenger for the AWomen’sn’s Interm Championship. As it appeared, the initial teasing of a betrayal of Baker to Hayter has gone out the window.

    What To Expect:

    • Wardlow addresses the recent attacks by Powerhouse Hobbs in regards to the TNT Championship
    • We hear more about the arrival of Jeff Jarrett and what that means for him and AEW.
    • The Acclaimed and FTR are to address about their upcoming 8-man tag team match against Swerve in Our Glory and TFirm’sm’s Austin and Colton Gunn.

Please share with us what you expect to happen this week in the comment section below for AEW Rampage for 11/4/22.
