It is time for another special episode of AEW Dynamite! It is time for AEW Grand Slam Mexico! As we move closer to AEW All In, All Elite Wrestling is having a special episode from Arena México, the home of CMLL Pro Wrestling. It will be the first-ever AEW show in Mexico.

It could be a special night. We have a huge match between MJF and Místico, Okada in action, and a title match for the CMLL World Women’s Championship. Let us learn more about this special night in Mexico City in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

    AEW Grand Slam Mexico
    MJF vs
    Místico

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, MJF challenged Místico to a match in Mexico. MJF vowed to take Místico’s mask in Arena México.

And if that wasn’t insulting enough, MJF brought back his “American Hero” gimmick last year. The heel heat will be strong in Mexico for sure.

In a Trios Match last week, MJF removed the mask of Máscara Dorada. Can he do the same to Místico? If he does on Wednesday night, can you possibly imagine the reaction?

Máscara Dorada vs Ricochet vs Hologram vs Lio Rush
(4 Million Pesos High Flying 4-Way)

In April, Ricochet was part of a $ 400,000 8-Man Tag Team Match. He teamed up with The Beast Mortos, Action Andretti, and Lio Rush against Mark Briscoe, Kevin Knight, Mike Bailey & Will Ospreay. Ospreay pinned Mortos that night.

Ricochet gets another chance at some money on Wednesday night. He will be part of the 4 Million Pesos High Flying 4-Way against Hologram, Lio Rush, and Máscara Dorada.

Four Million Pesos is approximately $200,000 U.S. Dollars. Will Ricochet finally get the money, or will he have just more things to complain about?

    AEW Grand Slam Mexico
    Mark Briscoe vs. Kazuchika Okada

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, they had the contract signing between Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega. It sadly ended with a cheap attack on Omega. Okada even used a steel baton on his famous rival.

Mark Briscoe wants revenge for his friend. He will fight Kazuchika Okada. After Okada’s actions last week, is this a smart decision by Briscoe? Likely not, but that has never stopped Briscoe before.

    Adam Cole
, Atlantis Jr., Bandido, Brody King, Daniel Garcia, and Templario vs. Don Callis Family (Hechicero, Josh Alexander, Konosuke Takeshita, and Kyle Fletcher) and FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood)
    (12-Man Tag Match)

At last week’s Summer Blockbuster, The Don Callis Family defeated Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong, and Daniel Garcia.

The Don Callis Family picked up the victory on Wednesday night. The rivalry and multi-man tag team matches continue at Grand Slam Mexico.

This time is a massive 12-Man Tag Team Match. Cole and Garcia will team with CMLL’s Atlantis Jr. and Templario, ROH World Champion Bandido, and Brody King.

They will face off against Don Callis’ Family and FTR. It should be another chaotic and fun tag match in this long-lasting rivalry.

Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta) and The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and
Nicholas Jackson) vs. The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata), Swerve Strickland, and Will Ospreay

On last week’s Dynamite, we had an epic match between Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland. It ended in a 30 30-minute time Limit Draw.

Just when they were about to add time to the match, they were attacked by the Death Riders and The Young Bucks in a vicious attack.

It is time for another tag match in this very personal rivalry. Strickland and Ospreay will get back up in the form of The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata). This rivalry has been bloody and vicious for months now. What will happen in front of the Mexico City fans?

    AEW Grand Slam Mexico
    Zeuxis
    (c) vs. Mercedes Moné (
    CMLL World’s Women Championship)

Mercedes Moné has enjoyed being “4 Belts Mone” for most of the year. She has held titles like AEW TBS Championship, Undisputed British Women’s Championship, NJPW Strong Women’s Championship, and the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Title. As she heads towards AEW All In, she has the chance to collect another title to her impressive collection.

Zeuxis has been the CMLL World’s Women Championship for nearly nine months now. She has accepted the challenge for Mercedes for the CMLL World’s Women Champion.

Will the home-field advantage in Arena México help out Zeuxis? And will AEW Women’s World Championship “Timeless” Toni Storm make her presence known on Wednesday night?

It should be another special night for All Elite Wrestling.

    What To Expect:

    • What will the “Toxic Spider” do next?
    • Will we get an update on the condition of Kenny Omega after Okada’s attack?
    • Will we learn more matches from AEW All In?
