It is time for the second night of Fyter Fest! AEW has done a good job of building two nights of pay-per-view quality events. The first night was impressive but can it possibly be topped on night two? This second night has some feuds that have been building for weeks. Let us look at tonight’s card for Fyter Fest.

    Fyter Fest Night Two
    Major Announcement by Taz

Thanks to the COVID Pandemic, we will not get to see Jon Moxley versus Brian Cage for the title tonight. The match has been rescheduled for “Fight for the Fallen” on July 15th. But we will see Taz and Cage tonight regardless.

It seems Taz has a major announcement to make. Tony Khan called it “an announcement that I guarantee will send shockwaves through the world of professional wrestling!” That is certainly hyping the announcement to a very high level. Can they possibly deliver on that promise? What can Taz possibly say to build towards next week’s AEW title match even more?

    Fyter Fest Night Two
    Nyla Rose in Action

Nyla Rose hasn’t been in the best mood since losing the AEW Women’s Championship at Double or Nothing. She has been an unstoppable monster. So it was surprising to see her announced for a surprise opponent at AEW Fyter Fest.

Who could it possibly be? Will it be a squash match? Will it be another returning talent who has been on lockdown for months? Could it be a new AEW talent? It would be nice to see multiple AEW Women’s Division feuds at the same time. Hopefully, this starts tonight.

    Fyter Fest Night Two
    Lance Archer vs Joey Janela

    Photo/@AEWrestling

Lance Archer entered AEW and quickly destroyed everyone in his path. That is until Cody took down the “Murderhawk” at AEW Double or Nothing. It seems like Lance Archer has been in search of a feud since that show. Enter Joey Janela.

Janela has also been in search of a meaningful feud as well. He has been teaming with Sonny Kiss in a pretty entertaining tag team in recent weeks. For some reason, this has raised the ire of Lance Archer. Can “The Bad Boy” survive Lance Archer at Fyter Fest? That will be a tough challenge for sure.

Colt Cabana & The Dark Order vs SoCal Uncensored

    Photo/@AEWrestling

It seemed like an odd pairing to have Colt Cabana join the Dark Order. But Dark Order Leader Brodie Lee has been pushing hard for Colt to join the group. It seems to have been paying off as Colt Cabana has picked up a big tag team match in recent weeks working with the Dark Order. But the next challenger is a far more interesting one.

SoCal Uncensored brought Colt Cabana into AEW to assist them in the feud Dark Order earlier this year. How will Colt Cabana respond going up against his old friends? It seems like this will be a major turning point in the Cabana-Dark Order storyline. Will Cabana completely join the Dark Side on Wednesday night?

    AEW Tag Team Championship Match
Kenny Omega & Adam Page (c) vs Private Party

    Fyter Fest Night Two

Kenny Omega & Adam Page defeated The Best Friends in a strong main event on last week’s Fyter Fest. But there is no rest for the champions as they are defending the titles for a second straight week. It is an interesting opponent in Private Party.

This should be an exciting match-up. All four are capable of producing an extremely fast pace and a high degree of athleticism. It could be the sleeper match of the night. Can Omega & Page possibly defend their title two straight weeks? They certainly won’t be distracted by FTR will they?

FTR/The Young Bucks vs The Butcher and The Blade/The Lucha Brothers

    Fyter Fest Night Two

This should be a lot of fun. FTR and The Young Bucks have been building their rivalry well before FTR even joined AEW. Since FTR has joined the company, they have played quite a game of one-upmanship with the Bucks. How can they possibly work together at Fyter Fest?

It is important to not ignore their opponents. Lucha Brothers are an amazing tag team. They simply have been on the sidelines during the Pandemic. The Butcher and The Blade are no slouches either. Once again, can FTR & The Young Bucks work together long enough to defeat their dangerous opponents?

    Fyter Fest Night Two
    Chris Jericho vs Orange Cassidy

    Fyter Fest Night Two

This should be the main event of the night. It has been an amazing build for this match. This began with Orange Cassidy casually interrupting a Jericho promo. It continued with a bag of oranges attack. We even had some really bloody brawls between the two. It is the hottest feud heading into Fyter Fest.

This could be a real star-making moment for Orange Cassidy. He garnered some of the best reactions by fans before the Pandemic. His momentum hasn’t slowed since then. Since Orange Cassidy actually “cares” it should be an excellent match. Can Orange Cassidy pull off the biggest win of his career? It will be great to find out.
